Hands down the best Super Automatic on the market

After 2 months of research and hands on demonstrations of the top consumer Super Automatic machines we took a chance on a new model with a new technology and its fantastic. We reviewed and hands on tested 3 Jira Models in the $1k to $2k range, the Breville and the Saeco Pico Barista. Ironically we were not able to do a hands on review of the 3200 but felt the review on Seattle Coffee provided us with enough information to make our decision. With the other super automatics there is some sort of milk clean up required. Absolutely NO milk clean up is required for the 3200. It is really the only 1 touch super automatic on the market. We cannot say enough good things about the product, the quality of coffee drinks it makes and the price point. No tubes, head cleaners or sour milk to deal with.

BEFORE YOU BUY
- Make sure you get the model with the auto milk frother. It works great, and is worth the extra $. The idea of the machine is to be fully automatic, so not getting this defeats the purpose for me.
- The machine is very loud. It is not for morning people who have kitchen close by to their bedrooms and family that has a light sleep. I have a new born and to her it is like "white noise" but be aware - machine IS loud.
- The machine DOES NOT have to be used with whole coffee if you don't want to, but to me that was one of the reason we bought it. Make sure you look for whole beans and look for roasting date - the closest to the date of purchase, the better taste it will have. If not that, same as everything else - longer expiration date, better off you are.
- The machine cannot accommodate tall coffee mugs
- Auto Frother - don't just dump unused milk, you can easily take it off the machine and put it in the fridge for the next use!
POSITIVES
- Since I mentioned Starbucks above, get the syrups - IT WILL TASTE LIKE STURBUCKS. I got mine from Amazon and they are a great addition to the set, and a definite hit when someone comes over
- Since we are on Starbucks subject, the money you pay for the machine, should pay itself off, if you are a big coffee drinker/purchaser - unless you do it for social reasons, not going out and buying a coffee but making it at home, will have you pay off the machine in about 130 coffees you make - if you like me, that is about few months (If you are trying to convince yourself that this is a worthy purchase, hope this will help! It sure did help me!)
- Did I mention yet that it produces great results?
- Looks professional and really well finished without any blemishes. It's plastic, but well made.
- Its easy to clean, it tells you when the base is full of water (from self clean) and when to dump used coffee, which is great - you don't have to clean it after each use
DISLIKES
To me loudness mentioned above already is the only one I found. Beside that one option I wish this machine ha was morning timer. At the same time, the machine cleans itself before 1st coffee to maximize the freshness, so I guess omission of that can be forgiven

Let me start with the biggest selling point for me - I am not a morning person and just pressing few buttons while getting Starbucks like coffee at home, makes it worthwhile to me. Love it! If you need help deciding between which model to get - frother or latte go. Here’s my opinion. I decided with latte go mainly because I had an espresso machine before which broke down, but I was obsessed with frothing the milk and doing latte art (for a good 1-2months) then I kind of got sick of it and sometimes wished I could drink a latte without doing so much work! And when I’m running late to work, there’s no time to manually froth milk. The 3200 latte go is worth the extra money for the convenience and added drink options. It literally makes my latte in 3min, machine start up is instant, and clean up is so easy. Btw, making green tea latte and other milk based drinks are possible. Select latte macchiato and stop the milk when it’s done dispensing. **Make sure to follow the first time set up instructions (very tedious, takes 15min but a must. Do it so that if there’s ever a mechanical failure with the machine in the long run, you did your part. Some reviews had mentioned how it doesn’t vent well and is prone to mold build up..... (let me explain - the machine can take whole beans or pre-grinded beans). The pre-grinded bean area is the same area as the vent.
1. The whole beans section has an “aroma seal” so the steam won’t affect it.
2. if you want to use pre-grinded beans, it does say to only use 1 scoop per each coffee, so the machine can vent itself after each use.
3. If you are worried about mold build up, I would suggest to use whole coffee beans. The machine has a built in grinder. I don’t see any reason to purchase pre-grinded beans instead.
Espresso machines can vary in price so I suggest do your own research. For me this did seem expensive at first but after comparing this to other super-automatic espresso machines, this one is considered to be priced entry level. I’ve been using the machine for over a month now with not a single issue, and I can say the price is well justified! After all it is an investment if you drink coffee everyday.

I am appliance installation technician with 15 years experience and it is first time I came across such a bad, poorly engineered and low quality product. I don't want waste my and your time explaining drawbacks of this product. Will mention only two most annoying. Water sensor started giving me errors after first hour of usage. Then it was going off ten times a day, sometimes even during the brewing process. In only a week of usage the front panel sensor buttons stopped responding. I am returning this joke back to manufacturer and never ever gonna buy anything starting with PHILL and ending with LIPS
