Three tips for installing this fixture or changing its bulbs.
1. Mount it tightly to the ceiling. The center thread with the silver tip does not come adjusted correctly (in my experience, they never do). Make SURE to mount it tightly. A spinning fixture is hopeless and looks dumb.
2. The lamp is held in place by four small screws. To change the bulbs, only remove three of them once you have made sure that the fourth is snug. The lamp will not fall out and you can get two bulbs in. Much easier to re-insert three screws than four.
3. When re-inserting the small screws, close your eyes and breathe deeply. Use hands, not tools to start the screws. Sounds very Zen -- but it works. You cannot see what you are doing anyway, so don't try. Feel the Force, young Jedi -- and you will get it done quickly.
Oh, and put a piece of cloth on the floor in case, you know, the Force decides to fck with you and you drop a screw. They can be hard to find.
Overall, a nice light however.
