Wouldn't recommend this product at all.

I was looking for an electric razor that would allow me to trim facial hair short enough to be considered stubble and maintain it that way. The "stubble comb" that comes with the razor is crap. It's flimsy plastic and bends as you put this against your face, so whatever trim level you're trying to achieve is never accurate. You also end up scraping your face if you put it on the lower settings because it places the blade right against your skin. So...there's very little protection this device actually offers. There was another comb that came with the set that is supposed to be for longer hair (beards). It worked a little better in protecting my face because the space between the sides of the comb, in which the razor sits, was smaller so there was less of a chance your skin would get nicked. However, whenever I tried to maneuver around angles of any kind (jaw, chin, even around the lip) the gap between the comb would be enough for my skin to make contact with the razor and I'd get a very close shave. Wanted to return this and get my money back, but neither Amazon nor Philips make it easy to return this for a refund. Oh well, out $50. I ended up going with the Conaire iStubble and loved it. Much easier for maneuvering, better trimmer guard, cuts hair a lot shorter and truer to what I consider real stubble. Far superior device, so I say go for that one and skip the Philips Norelco.
The return process on this product is not easy. You can't return to Amazon because it's a personal care product. If you try and return it to Phillips using their "45-Day Money Back Guarantee" they will first make you wait 3 weeks "to make sure all your facial hair grows out" and you can fully test the trimmer. Then, I had to do two separate requests for the paperwork to send this back because the first time their customer service team totally forgot. They sent me the return paperwork on the LAST day of the refund deadline. I sent it in anyway, paid my own shipping costs, and haven't heard back from them. As if I need to repeat: do not buy this product.
