I was surprised that with this model at least, the baking pan, splatter screen & grill pan are considered accessories. It advertises 'fry, bake, grill' -- but when you receive it, all you can do is fry. The baking pan & grill pan cost me another $68. I was a little annoyed by that. The user manual is one of the worst I have seen in a while. There is a table that lists available accessories by Model number -- and this model HD9741/96 -- is not even in the table, but six other models are. Then there is a labeled schematic of the device, but the corresponding list of what each numbered item is shows up finally 4 pages later...leading to lots of flipping back and forth. I also discovered, while trying to get the other accessories, that their website is a bit wonky too -- and I wound up having to call them, only to get someone who kept putting me on hold while SHE searched some website for answers -- and then finally had to email me later with the part numbers / place to order accessories.
These are just small customer user-friendliness things. But once I waded through it, the maiden voyage was roasted asparagus and then roasted carrots. So far, so good. This is a nice size for 1-2 people and easy to clean. Seems noisy (annoying if entertaining in your kitchen while cooking) -- but maybe all air fryers are noisy? Bottom line, I think I will be happy with this device.
