Negatives and the biggest reason I returned...the sound is flat no bass to mention. Sound is clear just flat. I was expecting a bit more range for the $60.00.
If you listen to music and enjoy a nice bass response, pass on these. I have had better listening experience for ear buds that cost $30.00, although they are not built as good.
It only took 2hrs for the start up charge.
Bluetooth pairing less then 5 seconds
Extra USB w/3.5 jack to plug in
None as of yet
Will update review in one month to see if I had any issues.
The earbuds I went through before the Philips were the 'FIIL Digital Noise Cancelling Headphones' and the 'Picun Wireless Headphones 35 Hours Playtime Neckband Bluetooth Headphones LED Light'. The FIIL tore my ears up out of the box with extremely tinny highs that irritated my ears. After adjusting the EQ in Spotify and practically turning the high frequencies almost all the way down they were acceptable. They still didn't sound nearly as smooth and good as my Leophile Eel though. They do look and feel nice. However, your ears immediately know the quality of sound by how irritating it does or doesn't become to your ears after several minutes of listening. The Picun buds straight up just didn't sound as good as my Eel no matter what I did with them.
Philips... these are good. Very good. They sound every bit as good as my Eel, which really surprised me, and right out of the box. Nothing irritated my ears, the S's sounded nice and smooth on a good quality sound file. That's a good sign. Even the built in voice sounded nice and clear. Coast to Coast AM podcasts sounded great. I am real happy with the sound quality. Someone here complained about there not being enough bass. There is plenty of bass. If you really want to ruin your ears then maybe a few might ask for even more bass, but I did not require it. I do have the EQ adjusted for more bass though, and I set my iPhone to the 'bass' option, so yes I like bass and require a good amount. I listen to old school hip hop and rap, motown, disco, house, techno, trance, edm, etc., and I did not require more bass than what I'm getting here. It sounds great to me. Everything sounds smooth and doesn't irritate my ears after a while of listening. That's important to me and a good indicator of sound quality. They are light but not cheapy light. They look and feel good. It comes with a micro USB > 3.5mm cord so you can plug them into a jack to listen. That cord is long enough to reach your knees. I have not tested that cord out yet. They connected to my iPhone immediately with no issues. I haven't used them long enough to know how well they stay connected but I don't expect any issues. The cords from the buds are thicker than my Leophile Eel so I appreciate that added durability for the bud cords. Haven't gotten to test how long they last.
Very happy purchase so far. Overall these are probably the best neckband buds on here under $100 as long as they continue to work as advertised.
Ive tested this with my pixel 3A XL and have enjoyed pretty good sound
the button works well with google assistant too
now ive gotta protect it from my wife since shes threatened to steal them from me after having listened to the 3 pairs ive owned
+ sounds much better than the $30-$50 range earbuds
+ easy to connect, has good clarity over decent range
+ stays well put in my ears with the wingtip that is decently comfortable
+ the best power bank you can have is the one that is in your hands (versus the ones you have but is at home)
+ physical button so I know ive clicked on it (I really dont like capacitive buttons on true wireless earbuds, unsure if ive pressed them successfully or not)
- I wish it has USB-C and power delivery
- not sure if they can make the charging case smaller but still retain 3350mAh (probably a limitation of the battery technology currently)
To preface: I have relatively small ears. These earbuds are pretty big both in the ear and out( Makes you look like Shrek.). I couldn't get the one of them to stay in my ear. Especially while running or jumping they fall out. Also if my long hair gets caught on the huge part that sticks out of the ear, it pulls them out. I tried mixing and matching the different ear pieces, but I still had these issues.
The connectivity between the two sometimes is weird. I had to turn them off and then return on. Also the left only works when the right is on, but the right can work on its own. They have a hard time both being connected to my Mac. On My Android they connect fine.

The shipping was brilliant by Amazon.
Bass is brilliant. I loved it
I could not find the volume button anywhere....however volume is sufficient and you can control via your mobile phone
Call clarity is good
Fits well in the ear. We can use only one ear piece of we want. Else both the ear pieces can be used for music
The case is very light and enclosed
Charging is very fast
We get some extra cushions for both the ears.
Good part is that the buds fit in your ear almost without bulging out and not giving a feeling of a swelling in the ear :)
I got it for Rs. 2999 and found great in my budget. Personally I feel, Philips and Sony deliver what they promise
My review after 4 days and on the day of run: The ear piece stayed intact for all 7km of run. Don't know exact definition of noise cancellation, however, you don't hear external noises as I have been running on roads too.
I will write back on good / not-so-good experience after some months of usage
My experience after a month may be is that there are Not so frequent disconnections of the Bluetooth connectivity. I am still to figure out if that is an issue with my phone.
My observations after couple of months is that connecting to Bluetooth to One Plus phones has become challenge to me. It does connect but takes some time. By the way Apple phones love this device as it connects seamlessly.
Charging kit has an inbuilt battery to keep the buds charged. You may have to charge the kit once in 2 or 3 days with a micro-USB cable (normal charger of an android phone). Cable is supplied by Philips.
BTW, listening to music shall fire neurons and keep your brain energetic and productive. All the best
Update 9 April 2020
Overall still working well , you get exactly 3 hours with max volume , call quality is a bit low and not the best especially outdoors , many on here complain saying it disconnects often , I use it on my laptop , PC , iPhone XR and with roughly about 60-100 hours of use it has not once disconnected for me (I too expected it to disconnect at least sometimes but it didn’t ) for the price range 3000 and brand with 2 year warranty I think it’s totally worth , if you want something really good for for something in the 10-15k range. Good thing about Phillips you have more service centres than brands like jabra Lenovo etc
For the folks with disconnecting issues ,I am not sure if you got a faulty one or if the device you are using to connect it with is the issue cause I am using this on 3-4 different devices and it has not once disconnected for me and I have used it for many many hours 100+
Still working as it’s supposed to , battery life still gives exactly 3 hours on each charge.
if you are getting this just for listening purposes its great but if your main purpose is for calls its not really that good at call quality
Nice fitting in ears as well. But that's where the good stuff ends.
Sound quality is average. I was able to pick up a lot of disturbances while listening to music on these.
Noise cancellation is a joke.
Th worst part is that these don't auto connect when you take them out of the case. Every single time, I had to"forget device" on Bluetooth and pair these again!
Please don't buy.
Good things -
Call - I speak with my friend for 10 minutes and got good response, my friend was able hear me properly even though my phone was far from me.
Bad things -
Headphones are belongs to listen and feel the music and for that in sound quality, we can not compromise.
Bass - I was expecting a punchy bass but the product failed to deliver it.
Pairing - I struggled a lot to pair with my RedmiK20 Pro. Even once it got paired and when I played music in phone, it started playing in speaker instead of ear buds.
Auto pairing - It does not auto pair quickly when I removed it from it's charging box. It took some time to pair and when it got paired still music was not played immediately in ear buds.
Overall sound quality - overall quality of music sound was good but not upto the mark.
Ear buds synchronization - sometimes only right ear bud was playing song and left ear bud automatically turned off.
Not very much satisfied with product returning it. Hope my review will help someone to make good decision before purchasing it.
