I use Amazon for most of my purchases and update my reviews if anything changes with the products. I do this so other Amazon users can get a real feel for the life of the product. You can look at my review which will be close to my purchase date and tell how the product is doing as time passes. I am not associated with any company and all opinions are my very own.
The kit is housed in a drawstring bag (not IMHO adequate protection) which could certainly be improved upon (seems a shame to build a good product then house it in inadequate protection - but it does seem to be the way of the world these days; Philips is no exception, but they OUGHT to be).
1) a USB type-A extension cord (the retractable part)
2) a type A/type B adapter (so the cord can be used as a type A/type B cable)
3) a type A/mini-B adapter (ditto RE the cord)
4) two "mini" adapters that are type A/non-USB proprietary (one for Kodak and one for Panasonic).
There is no micro-B adapter, which is too bad, since that is what a lot of devices (such as Kindle) now use.
Two stars for the two adapters that are actually USB compliant.
The only flaw is the catch is not strong enough to hold it in place at full length, so I just pull it all the way open, and throw a half-hitch around a pen-cap at the unit.
Be aware it opens evenly in both directions, not from only one side. Not an issue, but some may not expect this.
We bought a pair, and all the included USB adapter ends are wonderful just to have in the gear bag.
As some people here mentioned, that adapter kit comes with USB plug-to-socket adapter and several USB variants including cameras and such but NOT with the micro USB you use on Kindle or most smartphones. So if you want a connection for these as well, you need to get an extra adapter "A to Micro B" like the http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003YKX6WM/ref=oh_o00_s00_i02_details .
