I purchased this because we were given a very old 13in box tv for my 4 year old. We dont have cable set up in his room and he cant go to sleep without a tv, so I needed to hook up a dvd player to his old tv that didnt have the rf slots. This was easy to set up and great quality for the price. Perfect for a 4 year old.

As another reviewer pointed out, there are unacceptable black lines descending vertically at all times. Additionally, mine added very audible audio hum to the sound. This is a terrible product. Spend $10 more and get a tried & true RF modulator, not this brick. Believe me, I knew I wasn't gonna get ""perfect" when I ordered this one; but i expected far better.

I have no idea how this didn't show up to my home in pieces but none the less it did arrive and it does work. You got lucky sir...maybe next time consider better shipping options.

The merchandise was defective. The ON indicator lite never illuminated. I plugged it into other known working power recepticals. I also took.the time to connect it to the tv/dvd player to no avail.
