The app works well and easy to use. No Bluetooth connectivity issue with my iPhone unlike the iHealth machine. It has a graph of results which show trend. Minor gripe is it doesn't have a list of individual readings. But they are available in the graph.
I really wanted a wireless BP monitor that plays nice with iOS's Health app which is a repository of everything related to health from vital signs, daily step count, lab work results, etc. Unluckily, it doesn't. I'm not sure if Philips has any plan to integrate with Health app. Otherwise a solid machine.
The blood pressure monitor has never been accurate for me, always consistently returning much higher readings than my PCP office's devices. That's all there is to say about it. Otherwise, Philips' tech support has been great, very helpful and responsive. They informed me that Philips has discontinued marketing the entire line and this means that support for the accompanying PHS App is now in question. Eventually the devices will become ordinary monitors, scales, and thermostats. I'm not sure how a third party vendor is still selling this, and for nearly 2.5 times the list price that Philips published. Do not buy!
The rechargeable battery lasts three months when fully charged
You can have two different users for the monitor, but only one user’s information can be synched to the app
You can store your readings automatically on the free Philips HealthSuite App, and the app has the complete instruction manual included for easy reference
It can be a little difficult to read the display while it is on your arm. I always make sure I have the correct user profile selected before I place it on my arm, and then view the reading once I take the cuff off
You have to use the app to view any previous readings
Whether you chose to download the app or not, this is a nice, easy to use blood pressure monitor. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs to monitor their health.
