I live close to a radio transmission tower. Hearing the radio over my phones has happened for a long time. When I had traditional phone service, it was there. I switched over to Comcast for a land line telephone. It was there again. I just lived with it for a long time, then it seemed to get worse. I called Comcast for assistance. The Rep asked me to turn my radio down, she was having a hard time hearing me. I explained that I had no radio on, and that's the issue. Due to Covid, a Tech would not be out for a while and they would contact me. I remember something about a filter and searched on Amazon. I connected it between the modem and the phone lines to the house. It worked and stopped all interference. By the way, Comcast never did come out.

I do customer support from home and when our cable company switched us from analog to digital phone, it started..... AM talk radio in the background during every call. The sound wasn't loud, but it was persistent and annoying. Clients could hear it as well. And, trust me, the last thing you need while trying to make a customer happy is hearing over-paid pundits rant about this, that and everything else. Soooo... a quick purchase from Amazon later and ahhhhhhhh..... no more talk radio! Yay!! Oddly, when I first pick up the phone, I can still hear a bit less than one second of it, but then it's filtered out completely. Highly recommended.

I was really hoping to get rid of the radio interference noise from a radio station tower near our house, but this actually AMPLIFIED the radio interference!! No joke! I plugged it in as directed and called a friend to see if it worked and she told me to please turn down my radio.... So, I guess it works for some, but definitely didn't work in our home. We have Comcast phone/cable/internet and unfortunately, they can't do anything about this obnoxious radio interference and our city council refuses to do anything about it either. Oh well... Time to ditch the landline!

I have had our local radio station in our phone lines for some time now. I've tried Comcast (no help) to see if there was a floating ground or something that could be the culprit. I did isolate the transients to our in house wiring that is acting like an antenna and picking up the signal from the radio station, by plugging a phone in at the ingress to the house.
Looking around, I thought an RF filter may help.
This did nothing - absolutely nothing, to the broadcast of the AM/FM signal that is into our phone system.

This Philmore Phone Line filter did the trick. We had just purchased a fairly expensive portable phone-only to hear and annoying and loud radio station coming through on the line. The noise made it almost impossible to have a conversation.
After inserting this item into the phone jack, no more noise. We are super satisfied with this noise filtering device-whoever came up with it is pretty brilliant in my book!
