First of all, I want to point out that a received beaten-up package is caused by Amazon fulfillment or their transportation. The one I received had a dent in the box and I was able to shake it like a maraca. (I didn't shake it obvi; but when I turned the box the cologne was sliding around inside.) So, the product was not cushioned appropriately. Upon opening, the only cushion was an unreasonably-small-portion-of-brown-paper that was crumpled. Anyway, the cologne box itself was is miraculous shape. Thank you Amazing Grace for a wonderfully durable box design.
As for the cologne: what a wonder! So glad it smells exactly like the other Amazing Grace products of the same scent. If you've never experienced this scent, I'll try to describe it. :) Light, breezy, floral aromas. The mid tone are very clean and refreshing while undertones have floral fragrance. Maybe it's something that makes you think of a shower? Like, a cool bath of flowers? I don't know, but if you like cooling scents, this works for every season. Long-lasting, too.
