I work as a pharmacist and am around sick people all day I have always recommended phone soap to my employees and patients; however, this purchase was more than disappointing.. I received a new and sealed unit the packaging was in good quality but quality has went down hill. Several deep scratches are on the front of the unit some even under where the lid was taped down and the lid squeaks when opening and closing the unit.. it’s disappointing that quality control would let a unit like this go, I always stayed with the brand and have purchased maybe 10 units for friends and family but with other units coming into the market I may have to start recommending uv sanitizers instead of phone soap specifically.

Wireless charging doesn't work as advertised

I purchased 2 of these, and neither would charge my Galaxy S9+. When I contacted the company, they indicated that maybe my case was too thick. However, to test out their theory, I removed the case and it still wouldn't charge. In any event, I have other wireless charges that work with the case without any difficulty. So, even if you get the "your case is to thick" response, that is unacceptable for this technology if you are already using wireless charging. I've processed a return on these items, and may purchase the "non-wireless" version, which is $40 cheaper than the non-functioning wireless version. If I'm gonna have to use a cable anyway, I might as well save the cash.

Will NOT wirelessly charge iPhone 11pro in Otterbox Defender case. When centered EXACTLY in PhoneSoap charger, phone will show charging but in fact will NOT charge and actually loose charge over time. Phone charges great on my regular wireless charging pad.

Too shallow and wireless charging won't work with a phone case

The inside depth is too shallow to fit a phone with a case on it. The lid will not shut if you put either a Nexus 6p or pixel 4 xl with the unicorn beetle pro case on in it. Also the unicorn beetle pro case supports wireless charging, however it does not work with the phone soap wireless.
Also the general build feels very flimsy and not durable at all.

I was looking for some cleaning supplies for my electronics and was linked to this device from one of those gooey dust collectors... looked interesting and I know about using UV to kill bacteria, so I am giving it a shot. The case is roomy, enough space for my large phone. The Qi Charger is a silly add-on, but it works (I just am not leaving my phone in the unit for that long, although the charger does work even when the light has gone off. Cool device, now going to test to make sure it's killing any bacteria, where are my petri dishes?!

Looks to be working and I'll have to trust the science and another reviewer who went the extra mile and proved it with petri dishes.
I have to wonder if it doesn't clean at the 4 corners where the phones sits and doesn't get any light.
I can fix this in my mind by flipping the phone over and running another cycle.

I absolutely love this thing. I have no idea if it works because it isn’t like I can see a difference in the things I put in there but it makes me feel better lol. Honestly you could swap it before and after and tell me it wasn’t working and I honestly wouldn’t care. I put my phone in there daily and my earrings. I have put phones, chargers, jewelry, keys, tooth brush, tongue scraper, zit popping tool and etc. I wish it was deeper so I could put my glasses in it or other items but it’s not a big deal. I have not had any issues with it. I like that it has a light to tell you it’s done “cooking” and that it is completely silent. The charging aspect is amazing. There are mornings I over sleep and forgot to charge my phone and I stick my phone in there while getting ready and it’s charged enough for me to head out. I bought one for a friend and if they weren’t so expensive I would buy one for everyone I know. Get it!!!

No idea if this thing disinfects anything. I do know it doesn't charge at all with the door closed, but there was a note about opening the door to charge, which I tried before I was going to box it up and send it back.

Turns out it's a pretty decent wireless charger. Not as good as my Anker chargers, but still decent with the disenfecting side.

Long and short of it is disenfect, when the light goes out you can get to a full charge from zero in 4-5 hours.
