About the Author
Scott J. Kolbaba, MD, is a doctor of internal medicine in Wheaton, Illinois. After being awarded a degree in economics from Cornell College and serving with the Marine Corps Reserves, he completed his medical degree at the University of Illinois and graduated with honors.
Kolbaba interned with Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center and completed his residency at the Mayo Clinic. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
After a miraculous experience where he was given divine knowledge that a patient needed a lung scan, which ultimately saved his life, Kolbaba became intrigued by unexplained phenomenon many doctors see during their professional careers. He spent three years compiling this anthology of amazing occurrences.
Kolbaba lives with his wife, Joan, and enjoys spending time with his seven children and their families. He loves to travel, fly kites, and support charities, including an orphanage in Romania.

It reinforces our belief that there is a God helping each of us.
Thank you Dr. Kolbaba for sharing these wonderful, true miracles with us.
Beautifully written and an easy read. The stories are so personal and touching, that while reading I often found myself trying to read through tears.
Thank you for showing this side of physicians to the world. We all (speaking as a nurse who has worked with you many times) know how much you care for your patients, and it shows through in each story you've written.
