The difficulty of presenting the physics concepts involved when the metric units fit the Physics and English fit the Football are apparent. Its not so bad when you have lived with both, but its hard to get a feel of what is happening when the measurement system is explained so often.

This is still an excellent book on physics and football, but a decent background in physics and football is helpful. (You can learn much about both if you stick with it.)
