It does the job. Not overly complicated, a bit redundant, but if you're not up for/don't have time for the GH, "Big Costanzo" is a winner. The key with this book is to read a chapter in chunks--the same probably goes for GH and most larger textbooks, I guess. Most if not all chapters are less than 70pgs (most are around 40-50). If you're a med student and working in organ systems of 3-6 weeks, take 4-5 days to get through a chapter comfortably (8-10pgs/day) at the beginning of the block you'll be pleased, in my opinion.
One critique would be to have a couple Box sections to highlight clinical experiments. If you have medical school physio question source though you're not missing much at all with regards to experiments though.
