Hardware wise, it's terrific. The only minus is the rather loud fan that doesn't seem to be needed, even though I've got it located in a window in one of the hottest climates on earth.
Second, the software. The maker seems to have added some links to third-party tracker sites that cause the built-in piAware site to stop working without frequent reboots. It still feeds data reliably, but the local map view stops working every few hours without a reboot, and I see it trying to hit a lot of CDN's, trackers, and stats-gathering sites. I may find a spare SD card and flash the unmodified version from flightaware onto it.
Other than that, it is great: Take it out of box, screw the labeled antennas onto the labeled connectors, and plug it in.
