Nice Chair...But Color Does Not Match Image

Nice chair, easy to put together (4 screws) and arrived very quickly. The chair in the picture is an exact match of the glider chair with arms that I have at home. Unfortunately, the color is actually a very light green and does not match the picture which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Also, it would be nice if they had a matching ottoman to go with it.

A ninety-degree angle chair

I've always wanted a glider with no arms (they interfere with how I like to sit), so I really wanted to like this chair. It seemed very high quality and the gliding motion was nice and smooth, but the color was a dark grayish pine green, not at all the lovely jewel tone green in the picture here on Amazon. The chair was also larger than other gliders I've had-- I suppose it's made with a man in mind while my others were primarily for women. The real problem for me was that the back is straight up, no leaning back at all. I thought I wouldn't mind that since I like to sit up pretty straight; my car seat is always on the straightest setting. But I'd never tried a real 90-degree angle before, and I couldn't be comfortable with it at all. I kept feeling like I was sliding off the chair. The company (Woodwind and Brasswind) had good customer service and they cheerfully accepted a return, though I was out the shipping price and the return shipping. I guess furniture is something better bought in person.

We recently redecorated our master bedroom. I got a practice room out of the deal! I was using an old oak desk chair to play guitar, banjo, and mandolin on, but was thinking of changing to a stool. My wife surprised me with the Pick N Glider chair. It is fantastic! When I play guitar I use a foot stool and the stool is no impediment to the chair or its comfort. It is a very attractive addition to my music room and looks to be a very nice piece of furniture. The only problem with it I foresee is staying awake while playing! The chair is so comfortable it will be easy to drift off!

Excellent quality, incredibly comfortable, smooth as can be

My father is a banjo, guitar, mandolin, violin, and trumpet player and got this rocking chair for doing his music. He has a lot of back issues and it's very comfortable for him. So I know for musicians this is an excellent chair. He has graciously lent to to me as a rocking chair with my baby and it is AMAZING for that purpose as well. It is SO smooth, it is literally the best rocking chair (and I've had a few) I've ever used. The cushion is incredibly soft and comfortable, and the back is high enough that I can lay my head against it. It is super easy for me to rock my baby to sleep in this chair, it works like a charm. Fantastic product, the most awsome rocker EVER in my opinion.

Great chair for guitar players

I've owned my Pick-n-Glider chair for 4 years and I use it every day.
It has held up very well.
The glider mechanism works smoothly and quietly and allows your body to move naturally while playing, without being distracting.
It provides good back support and has helped me to improve my playing posture.
I'm glad that they're now offering more fabric and color options.
I just ordered new brown leather cushions for mine and I expect to get many more years of use from the chair.
I think the price is reasonable. I had done considerable research trying to find a well-built armless rocker or glider chair and found nothing comparable at any price.
I highly recommend this chair.

Back of chair broken on arrival,sent it back.NOT oak cheaply made,stapled together would not be worth. The money even if intact.shipped in thin cheap box.a lot of reviews say its great and comfy I seriously doubt these FAKE reviews.Piece of JUNK
