Top customer reviews
Not fun. Very frustrating for children and adults alike. I would not recommend this to anyone.
I read the other reviews and got a bad feel for it. I decided to give it a chance anyway.
All in all, if you're expecting traditional Pictionary, don't get too excited. I do agree with the reviewer who said that THQ could've done better. They definitely could have. I'm surprised that they made this game with bargain bin quality. And I'm not one to harp about such things either.
The timer then runs out and, yes, confirms that the word was indeed "Gingerbread House". BAD PROGRAMMING. Especially since this game comes from THQ, you would think these kind of bugs would have been found and fixed.
The other thing that was annoying, is pictures that are badly drawn. I suppose it's like playing it in real life, but some of the drawings are really pathetic, and you know this is going to be one of those games where you have to play it a million times to memorize the answers just to be to make it to the end of the board. But thats not what I call fun... so I have switched the game off and have no intention of playing it again.
I'm not even sure what the point of the create your own drawing/word is. It doesn't come up in regular mode. Pass the DS console around for a 2 player game is no fun either. Overall, if you love pictionary, and want a digital version, then take my advice, and pay between free to 5 bucks for this, but I wouldn't be surprised if most of you thought even that was a little too much for a game that should be a lot better then this... FROM THQ!?!?!... they are not amateur game makers, maybe they should just stick to the sport games, and not these kind of games.
Edit: Ok, since i reviewed it, i've worked out that if a word exceeds the limit of what you can type, it appears above the screen anyway, and you click on the word to answer it. However, still, even knowing that now, it hasn't improved this game much.
