This was my first foray into the world of romantic fiction (a female friend recommended) and I confess to a healthy amount of skepticism as I began reading (I'm a guy after all), probably colored by the standard cliches associated with the genre. This book, however, is a genre buster and then some. From the tongue-in-cheek title (fear not, you'll see) to the well-paced plot and entertaining, if bow-wrapped, denouement, "Picture Me Naked" is a ripping good read Mate.
The characters are well-drawn; an artsy, neurotic protagonist who sees dead people, the titular knight from Down Under in shining flesh who attempts to coax her beyond her repressions and a suitably simmering psycho of an ex. Stir in a hearty measure of enflamed passion and voila! A story that's hotter than shrimp on the barbie.
The jacket announces this as the first in a series. Let's hope Ms. Olech hasn't gone walkabout and is writing as we speak. Until then we'll have to console ourselves with Paul Hogan movies.

I'm an artist and a writer (under a pen name)......and this book brought me back to my art classes at college where I met my best friend. I was already married so already had the love of my life but the atmosphere that Ms. Olech creates is spot on and the banter between Z and Leah (her best friend) reminds me of my best friend and I. Especially our admiration for a certain model, who was gorgeous, funny, sweet and taken (unfortunately for my friend). Lol this book is not another cheesy romance that makes the writer in me scream. It's well written, witty, funny, sweet and entertaining. I look forward to more from the series. A definite 5 Stars. (Which I rarely give).

I find that I really fell in love with this book. The author incorporated real life scenarios, crazy ex named ED who thinks he's in love with the woman he verbally and emotionally abused, put her life in danger by messing with her car. When in the end to have Ed say he loves her and wants her back and has the gall to propose to her shortly after he messed with her lover Jagger's car in the hopes the crash would kill him. To me all that really mattered in the book is that she found who she really was meant to be, to allow herself to feel and fall in love, to allow Jagger to stay with her even though the would be putting a hold on the promise Jagger made his dad.....Love in itself is a journey where one has to learn how to open themselves up to the powerful emotion and to be able to draw the line between selfishness and selflessness.

I love discovering new authors...talented, intuitive new authors. Lisa Olech is a discovery I'm going to be talking a lot about. I love her style and voice. She drew me into the art school world within a few pages and kept me there, laughing at the banter between the students, drooling at the models--sigh--and hating the ex-boyfriend. Both the heroine and hero had baggage, but I totally enjoyed watching these polar opposites helping each other embrace their strengths. As their past slowly unfolds, so does the romance in many sigh-worthy moments. A great read...and an author to watch. Remember the name: Lisa A. Olech.

I'm so JEALOUS of Zee!!!!!!!!! I want Jagger for myself. OMG...looks, funny, sensitive, romantic, carefree, mechanical skills, thoughtful, great lover...is he for real??? And he's an Aussie to boot! And from the get-go he zeroes in on Zee and slowly woos her over. She begins to come alive and realize, albeit it late, that Jagger is everything to her. Jagger is so swoon-worthy - that's why he's not real...but all women wish they have a Jagger in real life. I love how Jagger and Zee are opposites in the way they view life but it was so clear that together they both complement each other. Zee accepted Jagger for who he was and vice versa. Throw in a clearly clueless evil ex (Ed) which added a bit of drama to this story, a dead grandmother's ghost, a very supportive best friend (Leah) and a zany hippie mother (Zee's) and you have a cast of characters. There were tears shed towards the end, including mine, and you end up with the sweetest love story with a touch of hot sex! What more can you ask from this zany, sassy romantic story! At the end, I wanted to keep reading more about Zee & Jagger because I didn't want it to end! I know this is supposed to be a series but I can't think of who the next story will about...unless the author decides to continue with Zee and Jagger - which I hope that will not be the case since their story was wrapped up pretty happily!

What else do you need to know? Everyone loves this book, with good reason. It's a superbly written, well-crafted romance with two of the most charming characters ever. You'll probably identify in some way with Zee - I did. And you'll absolutely fall in love with Jagger. Great names! Everything about this book is original! Do yourself a favor and read it.

Sweet baby Jesus I loved you Jagger, "he leaned forward and got closer to Zee. She could smell the apple on his breath. "Maybe after class you and I should get together. We can make a list of all the crazy names we'll give our kids." He's from down under so you totally understand how hot the boy's accent is, "back to work. Maybe I'll come back around and watch for a bit. I do fancy a sexy sheila with a fine backside." His eyes swept over Zee." He's cocky, "so you think I'm pretty?" Jagger smirked. "Also good to know." Zee and Jagger's relationship is anything but traditional:
"You told me to get comfortable."
"I didn't tell you to get naked!" Zee sputtered.
He lay buck-a**ed and stretched on her couch like an all-you-can-eat Australian buffet.
I mean the man is seriously comfortable in his own body and he just has no shame especially where his woman is concerned, "Zee found Jagger inside the van, naked and aroused. He held himself in his hand. "Hey there, Cupcake." I loved this book and I want Leah's story next.
