If you have the regular 6 cylinder engine (N51 or N52), you need different plugs - either Bosch or NGK. These Bosch plugs are your only choice for your E90 BMW with the turbo engine.

Also, be sure you have the special thin-walled 12-point spark plug socket for these plugs. A regular socket will not fit down the tube.

I also purchased Permatex copper-based anti-seize compound for the threads and dielectric silicon grease for inside the coil ends. If you're going to do it yourself, might as well do it right. I found them all on Amazon - easy.

FYI, spark plug gap and the proper torque are printed on the size of the box for the plugs. This is the first time I'm changing plugs on this car, so I was happy to see a few good Youtube vids on the subject.

german auto supply shipped them out quickly and the price was great!

I have an 08 335i, recently it started to get really jerky in higher RPMs, feared it was a lot of different things. Decided to start with these plugs first to clear the misfire and after a quick delivery and an hour of DIY labor my car is driving like new again.

Bought total 6 pcs of this OEM spark plug made by Bosch in April . German Auto ships very quickly and the items I received packed well individually. I replaced all of them earlier of this month and have never had any issue so far. I have the car tuned for a 400hp output through MHD flasher Stage 1+ fmic.

Plugs arrived pre-gapped and had a cardboard piece inserted in them to protect the pre-gap fitment. I checked them just in case and all were just fine.

I used a touch of anti-seize and dilectric grease on the base of the coil boot. I'm not sure either was necessary but you can never be too sure,

ANYWAYS, this is the BEST AND LOWEST price you can get on OEM plugs.

Bought total 6 pcs of this OEM spark plug made by Bosch in April . German Auto ships very quickly and the items I received packed well individually. I replaced all of them earlier of this month( Sept.) just in half an hour. After three weeks drive and testing, it approved that this OEM spark plug is equal or exceeding the Genuine quality, yet in almost half the price. I am very happy with this purchase.

Vroom vroom! After walnut shell blasting the engine, replacing the valve cover gasket, Rob Beck Replacement PCV Valve ,new throttle body gasket & intake manifold gaskets, new coil pack for Cyl 1 and a new cabin air filter, the car was ready for these spark plugs. Exact replacement for the one's I ordered from BMS & I saved $10! Car is flying now.

These plugs can be a bit pricey, but can be had for an excellent price here on amazon. Plugs arrived pre-gapped and had a cardboard piece inserted in them to protect the pre-gap fitment. I checked them just in case and all were just fine. Box was even banged up and had a hole in it, but they all worked great. Easy to install in the N54 BMW engine of my 2010 335i xDrive E92 coupe. Recommend changing them at 40-45k for best results. On a tuned engine every 20k to prevent misfires. If you get a slight stutter here and there on wide open throttle it is likely a misfire in one of the cylinders. New plugs cost 60-70 for the set and cure this issue. Plug in a code scanner even without a check engine light and you might find a couple cylinder misfires. These are most likely the cure. If not, try moving the coil pack of the cylinder in question and see if it follows the coil pack. If it does, you may need a coil pack replaced as well. Easy to do even for an amateur.

very disappointed with these spark plugs. I have bmw 335 N54 , Slightly tuned. after i installed it the misfire was gone, however 3 week from installation, 2 spark plugs went bad. they have yellow markings on it. still misfired. I had to go to dealership to get OEM spark plugs. they work better than this Bosch.

I m not sure , if those 2 spark plugs were defected.

PLEASE RESPOND ON THIS.

I got a misfire that started after installing these plugs. It hasn't tripped a code yet, so I will have to go through each cylinder manually to figure out which cylinder has the misfire. Hopefully it is just one. Yes these save a little money compared to the official BMW Bosch plugs, but I would definitely pay the extra bit for the BMW plugs from now on personally. There are minor differences between these and the official BMW plugs. Others have used these with no issue/misfire, but you will have to decide if it is worth the chance of a misfire to save some money.
