Penelope Louleas you have blown me away with this gorgeous man Pierce. He has literally stolen my heart. I need #Pierce in my life.

The anticipation of Pierce was by far one I was most looking forward to reading. His POV was charismatic, he is magnetic – you will be so drawn to him that you will never want his story to end. Ms Louleas - you DID NOT disappoint. Loved every minute that was Pierce.

He is one sexy, successful man who knows what he wants – or does he?

Pierce had me laughing out loud and gasping for air at times. I loved him inside and out.

A beautiful story about two people learning to conquer their demons, overcome society pressure and just fit in.

But as you will find out – these two are clearly meant to stand out.

This is definitely a MUST READ. It is so much more than an M/M Romance. If you love a romance, then do not hesitate to get your hands on Pierce – literally.

I can’t express how much I loved this story. I devoured it completely. It consumed me – literally – consumed me. I want my own Pierce.

It taught me that you need to embrace who you are and to fight for what you want and believe in. Never be afraid to accept who you and to try and be strong enough to let that someone special into your heart.

All it takes is LOVE – Love is love no matter your gender, color, race or who you are.

Simply addictive. Pierce will leave you breathless and wanting more.

So proud of you Penelope Louleas. Pierce is simply a beautiful, sexy love story.

This was a novella by Penelope Louleas about Pierce; the sex-on-a-stick best friend of Harbour. I absolutely loved Pierce, who was introduced to us in the first installment to Ms. Louleas’ Runaway Home series. Of course this man-god is gorgeous and caring and great at his job and gay. Aren’t all the good ones gay? I swear! Humph!
Ok, I’m over it. Onward……So Pierce is your regular playboy. One night stand kinda guy that doesn’t do repeats and everyone knows the score. Lately though Pierce experiences what a lot of people who are single and play the field, loneliness. The chase and fun of having a one night stand was always great but unfulfilling at the same time.
Then Pierce meets Noah.
Noah is currently a higher up corporate guy that Pierce’s family attorney firm is vying to represent. The connection is immediate but Pierce is unsure if Noah bats for his team. Usually his radar isn’t so off. But he can’t quite tell if Noah is gay. Unfortunately, Noah doesn’t know either.
Noah has been with both men and women but doesn’t know which team he wants to be a permanent player for. So, Pierce takes on Noah as a sort of project and attempts to introduce him into the lifestyle that he embraces without reserve. Of course you have your normal obstacles that come with any relationship but, you also have more complicated obstacles that come with a same sex relationship.
Noah’s family is not as accepting as Pierce’s family. His dad is a political leader that is anti-gay and voices that proudly. It makes Noah afraid to “come out” publicly and therefore creates friction between Noah and Pierce. Pierce feels like Noah’s dirty little secret. It’s funny that Pierce isn’t anything like I imagined he’d be.

I loved this book, Pierce. I thought it was such a complex and emotional story. The plot captured me right from the start and I was sucked into Pierce's life like a voyager. I got to experience him falling in love. Witness all of his heart ache and pain because some parts society doesn't just let all love be simple and open.

There was so much going on in Pierce's world - you only got glimpses of it when you're reading Harbour. You truly had no flipping idea that his life was so chaotic and all that he is hiding from his friends. It's not secret that Pierce has a mysterious lover - you just probably would not have ever guessed his identity. It is completely right there - the truth, happiness and the despair. The author does an incredible job showing you want she wants you to know and nothing more.

Pierce's character was enticing. He is sweet and sexy. Intelligent. Dominant. Pierce knows who he is and what he needs in life. Unfortunately, he falls in love with a man who is very much unsure of who he is and desperately wants his sexual desires to remain hidden. It's a love story that feels doomed to fail but that you're praying to succeed.

I truly enjoyed getting to know Pierce and reading his story. I thought his book is very well written and it completely entertaining. If you were fans of the authors first book Harbour you do not want to miss out on Pierce's story.

I can imagine that being gay isn't easy. There are so many close-minded people out there that will think less of you or judge you because of your sexual preference. Coming out can be hard, but Pierce embraces his sexuallity. Noah doesn't. How do you convince someone that they need to be true to themselves? Obviously, this makes for some extra struggles in a relationship. And it makes a really great read.

I truly enjoyed this story, it had me smiling at different parts, and crying at others. Tears are a sign of a great book to me. It means I am truly connected to the charcters. That's how I felt with Pierce. I got a glimpse of this amazing man in Harbour. His mystery man intrigued me. I couldn't want to find out who it was.

In the end, the book is about finding love. Finally allowing someone in and giving part of yourself to someone else. I loved this story from beginning to end and I look forward to reading more from this author.
