It's not a big enough deal for me to go to the hassle of exchanging it, but kind of upsetting. I understand books getting banged up a little bit, but not having nasty stuff on it.
A good scrub with a clorox wipe took care of it.
Parents and teachers will laugh out loud alongside their children and students as they read about a pigeon just trying to enjoy his hot dog...
But someone needs some more details about this so-called “hot dog!” So cute.
Unlike "Don't let the Pigeon Drive the Bus" and "Don't let the Pigeon Stay Up Late" in which the reader interacts with Pigeon by saying "NO!", Pigeon instead interacts with Special Guest Star, Duckling.
The result is a quicker read (since you don't have to pause for the reader's reaction) and with the limited words per page, it's still enjoyable for the toddler with a short attention span.
I completely credit this book for my 2 year old son's newfound love of hot dogs, and I also like the central message of this book: one should share.
In any event, if you like the Pigeon series, you'll like this book. However, I recommend that you purchase "Don't let the Pigeon Drive the Bus" first (so that the reader will be familiar with the Pigeon character).

We are in our mid-thirties and I can simply say this book is not just for kids!
Now I want a hot dog.
