This book shows that children can sometimes be even more perceptive than adults when it comes to right and wrong. It has an easy to read font and cartoon illustrations that are easy in which to laugh but at the same time teach valuable lessons. The story illustrates that even with the best of intentions, if not thought through, certain actions can lead to poor outcomes. The moral of being considerate in every way to others is very obvious through the eyes of the child who ends up teaching his father a few lessons as well. --The U.S. Review of Books
Piggy Nation A Day At Work With Dad is an imaginative illustrated fable that presents a new take on the Golden Rule. A young pig named Sammy spends the day with his dad on Piggy Patrol. Sammy's dad is a particularly zealous piggy patrol officer. As Sammy's day observing his dad at work progresses, he realizes that not all piggy behaviors are the ones his dad spots and tickets. In fact, by the end of the day, Sammy recounts to his dad all the episodes of piggy behavior he has observed, saying, 'Sorry, Dad, but you were the biggest piggy.' He then adds, 'I still love you.' Extremely humorous illustrations add to the charm and the message of Piggy Nation. It's tough to ignore piggy behavior when it's so carefully delineated before your very eyes. Piggy Nation will appeal to kids ages 4-7. --Midwest Book Review
Piggy Nation A Day At Work With Dad by Richard Rosser is entertaining and original. Sammy is excited to spend the day at work with his dad. He learns that his dad has a very important job of finding and ticketing people, or animals as the case may be, for exhibiting Piggy behavior. Only, Sammy is disappointed to discover who it is that actually displays the most Piggy behavior. The wonderful illustrations by Shane Sowell add humor to the already amusing story. Piggy Nation A Day At Work With Dad reminds us that in order to put an end to Piggy behavior we must first start with ourselves. Piggy Nation A Day At Work With Dad is definitely a story children and parents will enjoy and one they will read again and again. --Beachbound Books

Piggy Nation A Day At Work With Dad is definitely a story children and parents will enjoy and one they will read again and again.
Only trouble is, sometimes it's hard not to be a piggy when you're pointing out piggy behavior in others. Sammy witnesses some very piggy behavior, but he's surprised to find out who's the biggest piggy offender.
Poking fun in a light-hearted manner, Piggy Nation gets the point across. Kids will chuckle as Piggy Dad slaps Piggy Tickets on everyone, while making his own messes as he goes along. And then they'll be able to point out for themselves, "That's piggy behavior!"
