You kick...a ball...through uprights.

That's it.

Sometimes it's windy. Ooh. Tricky.

How bored would you have to be before this game became awesome? I can't even imagine. Maybe Tom Hanks sitting on a beach busting his teeth out with an ice skate might find this game to be an awesome diversion. Maybe.

On the other hand, the game is well made and the graphics are good. They did a good job creating a dull game.

This is a simple game app where you swipe your finger or stylus upwards toward the goal in order to score. Your score is based on a percentage of how close the ball came to the center of the goal. Wind speed and distance will vary greatly as the game progresses.

The game can be played by oneself or against the computer using the multiplayer option found in the menu. You can also play against online 'friends' through the help of the dreaded & most hated means of OpenFeint.

Regardless of how I feel about OpenFeint, I still checked out the game but, found myself becoming quickly bored within less then 10 minutes with the repetitious 'flicking'. I could almost predict my score before I'd even made a move!

Overall, I'm not all that impressed & will not be keeping this one...

The graphics are good and game play is simple but not super challenging. Each kick is from a different distance and the wind changes direction and speed tying to give you a harder challenge. The game runs smoothly and responds quickly to your selections and the motion of your finger. It is almost identical to the American Field Goal kicking game offered by the same developer.

It includes a basic and simple set of instructions. Don't forget to scroll down as there is more information off the bottom of the screen. In addition as you start each different style of game for the first time the instructions pop up on the screen to give you a reminder. Special quotes regarding rugby or other comments pop up right before you start the game but they disappear so quickly I could not read them.

Modes of play
* Sudden death
* Arcade
* Practice
* Time attack
* Multiplayer
* Precision

OpenFeint is installed but you have to log in via a menu and in addition it is also shown under "My Flick Kick" to see the "OpenFeint Leaderboards". I dislike OpenFeint and the space it takes on my Kindle Fire. Every time I attach my Kindle to the computer I have to delete almost 300 programs that it uses. The game keeps track of your personal statistics you have achieved during game play.

Important:
The game has a selection titled more games and when I touched it I was shown the games written by the developer. I then touched the Amazon home button in the upper RH corner and then "Go" and I was presented with some Amazon book selections including Literotica titles including erotic and graphic book covers. Not exactly what you want your children doing. This is exactly why I hate open back door access to the web and to shopping.

This is a very simple game.

The "Flick-Kick" games are all about the same as far as gameplay goes, so, if you already have one , for instance "Flick-Kick Football" you won't find anything new here as far as the actual gameplay is concerned.

The graphics are very "rugbycentric" so if you enjoy rugby you will certainly like this theme.

The game plays well and the touch screen controls work flawlessly.......... which is necessary in a game like this one!

This is not a game you'll play for hours in a sitting, but, it is one that you will likely find yourself coming back too pretty often over time when you have a few minutes to kill.

The actual game activities are a little too sparse to award it a perfect rating. But , its close.

On its face I would rate this game as above average with 4 stars.

-2 Stars for integrating mandatory Open Feint

I rate this app with 2 stars

I will start with the fact that I played this game for 3 min. and I got board out of my mind!!!
I also found out that the game is not about flicking at all, but simply slideing your finger.
Isaac looking to play a real game of Rugby but all the game is, is making a.ball go into a field goal.i am anoyed!

Flick Kick Rugby is quite average in my opinion. It is similar to Paper Toss except with a Rugby ball. I feel like the presentation is so plan. You just flick a ball into the post with some wind. The play screen does not attract me to keep playing.

This game app is not recreating an idea nor is it complicated ... simply kick the ball through the uprights. The posts are a little different for Americans like me who are used to American football as opposed to Rugby. However the object is the same in both games and the same obstacles of distance and wind are encountered. I like the scoring in this game especially in Time Attack where extra time is added to each kick. I play at least one round every day and am completely addicted to this game!
