I am always on the hunt for the perfect blueberry scone. I had these blueberry scones in my cart for 1 year, but just couldn't justify the price...and worried about having so many on hand at a time! One day I decided to take the chance and proceeded to the checkout. Best decision I could've made. They come in a box packed with dry ice in a styrofoam cooler. There are 8 layers of 12 scones, with each layer separated by waxed paper. The scones are pre-cut into a triangle, which makes it easy to break off just a few (even one!) to bake as you want them. I have shared with friends and family who have enjoyed them so much that they also ended up ordering their own box.
I don't know how long it will take me to get through 96 scones, but I will definitely reorder these when I do. The size, consistency and taste of these are exactly what I love in a blueberry scone.

The box with the scones inside comes in another box with dry ice packs around the side surrounded by insulation. The box with the scones in is probably like 12 inches tall, 8 or so inches wide, and 12 inches long, so it fits in my freezer chest without an issue and would fit in my actual freezer fine too!
I was hesitant to order these due to the quantity and size but I know I will go through them eventually and have no issue storing them so it was definitely worth it.

These scones are perfect. The right amount of flavor without overdoing it. They have a soft fluffy inside and crunch on the outside. I like mine a little more crunchy but you can cook them however you'd like. I also top mine with a simple cream cheese frosting.By KristiS on January 25, 2021
