They ACTUALLY erase!

These are NOT the erasable pens from the 90s. I'm not sure why it took us this long to learn silicon was the answer, but these pens are worth the price. They legitimately erase, all the way, without destroying your paper. The indentation is obviously still there, and if you erase too much in one spot, you have a hard time getting ink to write over that area (I'm talking the kind of excessive nervous erasing you do when you're writing an essay on a test). Ink flows well, I don't think it smudges unless you're rubbing the ink literally the exact moment you write. I don't recall ever having ink smudges on the side of my hand. Idk how they compare to other brands, because my first experience with erasable anything since 2000 was the highlighters and they were this brand.

I absolutely love to color code things! I have used these pens in my daily Bible reading. My particular Bible did not have the words of Jesus in red. SO, I used the red pen and underlined HIS words as I was reading. I also circle names and places in orange. Verses that have personal meaning I underline in purple.

I have used every color and it writes every time. The erasing is so very simple. It has never bled through on my thin Bible pages or has the paper torn. I ABSOLUTELY love having erasable pens. I remember way. back some of the original erasable pens from high school. Those left residue from erasing as well as not completely erasing ... FRIXION works!!!!

These are fantastic for marking on fabric! They come in a variety of colors so you can usually find one that will show up on the fabric. And they disappear every single time when you iron the fabric. I don't recommend for marking on vinyl (mostly because you can't iron vinyl) unless you are ok with it smearing. It does seem to wash off vinyl so that is good

I love these for work and my planner. I have bad luck with electronic schedules so I still keep a paper one. I can use these to color code my calendar and change it a much as I need. Just don't set your hot tea cup on notes with these pens as it will made the ink disappear.

I have the ADHD - I use these for notes and exams (and the corresponding highlighters) and It's made a world of difference for me. Being able to erase and re-write works so well. I also use it with a rocketbook (which was designed for them.)

The colours are vibrant and the ink flows sooo nice. Erasing is a breeze. Profs and students always ask me about them.

The *only* downside is, like many up ballpoints some colours go thin or dry out quickly, but, ballpoints.

They've become my favourite pens. (get the clicker ones, not the ones with removable caps)

I'm taking a copyediting / proofreading course and my instructor specifically recommended these PILOT pens. They're erasable ink! I've been using them for a few weeks now and also love them. These pens are not perfect - to start with, they are a bit pricey - but they are so unique they are worth the costs. The ink really does totally erase, using the built-in eraser tip. You'll never use all of the eraser top, so it's not a problem there.

I do find that the ink can 'goop' a bit with these pens, but nothing terrible. And, after all, they are erasable. This particular tip is a fine point (0.7 mm) which I find easy to read. I've just ordered the super-fine tip (0.5 mm) set, so hopeful those will allow me a little more precision.

I like how this is a multi-colour set, but I do wish there were more of the standard colours (more red, which is the most common copy-editing colour to use). In any event, these would be great pens to also give kids, as you can erase their work if needed - although I haven't tried other surfaces than paper lol.

In sum, these are great, unique gel ink pens, and definitely worth the money!

Pros: It erases and is much handier than using white-out. They are colourful pens.
Cons: If you write on both sides of thin paper (think loose leaf), you will likely erase some writing on the back side of the page when you erase on the other side. If you write with firm pressure, the ink does not flow out evenly and you get light streaks and the writing experience doesn't feel very smooth. With lighter pressure, it's perfectly fine. The pen feels cheap and the clicker makes a light noise as you write which adds to the cheap feel.

I like these pens for specific purposes, but if you don't make mistakes very often and are looking for a smooth pen, I would choose something else.

The pens are comfortable, erasable, and work great with the Rocketbook. However these pens have barely lasted a week and a 3 pages of writing! 2 pens in one pack ran out in that time span and the other ones look on track to do the same. I've seen some comments saying that recent purchases are not lasting long so maybe they changed their formula or had a bad batch. Currently, these are NOT worth the price.

I really wanted to love these pens! The colors are great. The erasable function works perfectly. But I am so disappointed to say that almost all of my pens have gone dry after a very short amount of use. I have written to Pilot regarding warranty but have not heard back. Some good customer service would give me restored hope in this product. We'll see....
