About the Author
Holly Dodd is an award-winning author. Her novel won the 2016 RWA Beacon award for unpublished romantic suspense. Her fans classify her stories as steamy and intense with a little bit of funny and a lot of emotion.
Fueled by chocolate and caffeine, her writing interests range from the contemporary anti-hero, to paranormal and futuristic. In her opinion, vampires will never go out of style. She loves an alpha hero and a bad boy, and the women destined to keep them on their toes.
Calling Pennsylvania home, Holly loves autumn, the beach, and beautiful weather. Though she sees very little of it living in the North. When she's not writing, reading, or baking, she's wrangling her three psychotic felines, and wondering where her muse will take her to next.
She is the author of the bestselling Brewhouse series, the co-author of the Windy City Bad Boys series, and the co-author of the Queen's Rangers series.
Christian Rummel is an actor and VO artist.--This text refers to the mp3_cd edition.

But then Mia's life changed when Regi and his family moved in the house across the street from their house. Regi fell for Mia while they were in high school and pursued her until they became an item. Although Regi was into their relationship, Mia always held back due to fear of Regi leaving her for another girl, like her father checked out of their lives. But no matter what, Regi continued to pursue her until she finally decided to give their relationship a fighting chance.

Mia live a complicated life with a mother that jump from one guy to the next and was barely around and with that she was left her raising her little sister until her sister was old enough to take care of herself. Believing that her sister is finally old enough to take care of herself and that she can protect herself Mia leaves for college.
Believing she left her past behind her she start living again in a new town with new friends. Well that until Regi finds her again.
Never trusting anyone is what got Mia in the predicament that she is in now. Never believing that she is good enough for any man lead her away from Regi. But the truth is she has always wanted Regi from the first moment she laid eyes in him.
What is even scarier is how he makes her feel and she can't feel this way about him because she believe that he just gonna hurt her just like every man has in her life and that is thanks to her old Dad. He taught her that she was and will not be good enough for anyone.
This book takes you through a beautiful journey on how Mia finally realizes that maybe she is worth loving and maybe just maybe she is good enough for someone and we can think Regi for that.
Based on the last story - you never would have guessed Mia and Regi knew each other from high school, let alone shared something special for those few months - but it never got too far. Mia has Daddy Issues - which in the long run, means she refuses to commit, refuses to love, refuses to let someone in - which sucks for Regi -
When Regi moved in to the new town in his senior year, he had no idea he'd meet the one woman who he'd love for the rest of his life - now if only he could get Mia on board with his plans....
This book was hot - many years had passed since they graduated high school and went to separate colleges - and when Regi came back for Mia - she still didn't want anything to do with his heart - if only her heart would listen to her though....
Because of her stupid heart, Mia convinced her brain the best way to make Regi see he was too good for her, would be to show him that she wasn't interested.
Now based on the first book, we saw Regi as a player - the guy who wouldn't commit , or take Jo's virginity - so how does Regi and Mia using other people make them realize how much they're hurting themselves???
Regi has a Hot interest - just wait to you see where he takes Mia for their second date :)
Awesome story ! Can't wait to start on Kiss me now - book 3 :)
Mia was someone I couldn't help but hate. She was a wholly unsympathetic character and there was nothing to substantiate the colossal effort she made to be a ginormous b*tch. She was selfish, greedy, manipulative and cruel. She wasn't someone I would ever call a friend and why anyone gave her the time of day baffled me. I didn't care about her. If the next scene had her being struck by a car, I probably would have cheered. Okay, so I'm obviously exaggerating a bit, but I'm hoping you get my point. I couldn't root for her happy ending because in my opinion she didn't deserve one.
So I'll leave off here telling you that if/when you read this story, I'm sure you will fall for Regi just as much as I did. He wasn't pure by any means, but a lot of his actions and his behavior can be understood and even accepted when looking through the rotten glass of life that Mia had poured for him.
