Okay, well first off, it came in the mail with an already charged battery. After a few deep breaths, I went ahead and got myself in the stomach with this bad boy to make sure it would work before I handed it over to my girlfriend whom the gift was intended for. IT. WORKS. WELL. The shock knocked me off my feet and left me a little winded after a few minutes...and I was ready for it too! There are a few negative concerns though:
The metal forks that act as the conduit are a little flimsy and I can see them possibly breaking if the stun gun were to be jumbling around somewhere out of it's case.
The LED light isn't that bright, so I would just assume not use it and save the internal battery.
To charge the Stun Gun, simply plug it into a wall. But...the charging plugs are cheaply made and when it's charging, you can feel the heat generating off the stun gun. That could possibly be problematic if left charging for too long.
**UPDATE**
After a reply from another Amazon customer about the validity of this brand, I noticed that the product is indeed NOT made by CANNIKS as indicated by the picture. The seller was ZIGZAGMART and the brand is TERMINATOR. This particular tazer, while effective, is not safe in plug-in mode as it generates entirely too much heat. His/her input, plus the research I did on my own, as led me to feel that this isn't a product worth owning. I don't want it burning my house down while it's charging nor do I want it faulting out when it is needed most, which it has already done twice during a "dry fire" because the flimsy switch can't tell if it's on or off.
