I didn't care for this book, and the more Pinkalicious books i read, I am beginning to like her less and less. My 5 year old is learning to read so I got her this book, it is a step 1; and maybe I"m wrong, but it was very hard for her. We have step 2 books that aren't this difficult for her to read. Esp since there are made up words that Pinkalicious likes to use, it really threw my daughter off.
On another note, there is a point where Pink. was told unicorns can't come to school its against the rules, so she cries and the teacher tells her the unicorn can stay....this is not the type of message I like to give my 5 year old...cry and you will get your way! She even picked up on it and said that pinkalicious was kind of a brat.
The content itself was Fine. Not a terrible book, certainly not a wonderful one.

I bought this book for my 2 1/2 year old daughter who was starting to get too old for board books. The storylines are fun and easy to comprehend but, complex enough for my daughter that I can challenge her level of comprehension and understanding. The illustrations are also very well done and engaging. Overall this is a great series for toddlers.

My three year old loves this book. She took one look at the unicorn on the front and wanted this book. The story is age appropriate for her and not so bad to read for me. She loves to hear about pinkalicious and her adventures.

This is a fun book about a little girl who wants to bring her imaginary unicorn to school and she had to teach it to follow the rules. We checked this book out from the library first and my 2 year old daughter loved it so much we decided to get it for our own library. You can't beat the price of 3.99!

Maybe we're just not big fans of Goldilicious (Pinkalicious' unicorn), but the books that include Goldie just aren't my favorite. In this story, Pinkalicious doesn't like that her unicorn can't go to school so she brings her unicorn to school one day. It's not a bad book but there are better books in the Pinkalicious series (such as Pink Hat Parade).

Really? Crying because you were told no gets rewarded by you getting your way? Is that really the message that you want to teach your kids? I found this book to be disgraceful. It is hard enough raising a 6yo girl in this day and age, teaching manners, morals, discipline.... If you want to raise an entitled, spoiled, nasty freeloader then this is the book for you. I threw it out.

I brought this book for my 4 year old niece. Although she cannot read yet, she enjoys making up her own story looking at the pictures. It's an easy reader as well, which means that you won't spend days rereading it to children either for the 100th time.
