Abel Lawson is haunted by the memory of an alpha that was just supposed to be a one-night stand. He can't seem to get Mateo out of his head even with a busy and full life to distract him. When he discovers he is pregnant, Abel realizes he wants the whole package. He wants the baby, the husband, and the white picket fence. There is still the little problem of the several thousand miles separating him from the man he wants.
Mateo Medina isn't one to let a good thing pass him by. He knows he found the omega of his dreams and he's determined to find him. Luckily for him, fate is on his side. When his best friend calls him and offers him a job in the very pub Abel owns, Mateo knows he is destined to be with the omega that stole his heart. He takes a chance and moves his small family to Maine.
Together, Abel and Mateo build a family and a bond that will see them through everything - fear of heartbreak, protective parents, pushy grandmothers, angry siblings, and dangerous trouble.
Author's Note: Around 40,000 words. This is a m/m, non-shifter, mpreg insta-love story with no angst and no cheating, just a HEA. There are a few potty mouths, so beware. 18+ readers only, please. It is the fifth book in the series and should be read after the Hobson Hills short, "Justin's Journey." (Book 4.5)

About the author

I have been self-publishing m/m romance since October, 2018 and enjoy sharing my books with readers all over the world. I'm also a reader and I love to read everything I can get my hands on, especially m/m romance. My favorites are mpreg, sci-fi, fantasy, and paranormal. I have four series right now.
1). My Hobson Hills Omegas series is light and sweet non-shifter mpreg. They are novella length (35,000-45,000 words) and angst-free.
2). My Blue Solace series is a sci-fi/fantasy romance and has more action and adventure. The romance, however, is still light and sweet. They are longer (40,000-60,000 words).
3). My third series is called The Silver Isles and is a paranormal mermen trilogy. They are also a little longer than Hobson Hills (45,000-50,000 words) and are low heat and light and fluffy.
4). My fourth series is a paranormal, mpreg series of holiday short stories called Holiday Omegas (10,000-14,000 words). The first few stories follow one couple as they meet, fall in love, and develop their relationship.
If you like zero angst, light and fluffy romance, give one of my books a try!

And so the story begins. Characters from previous stories make appearances, we meet some of Mateo's family and issues arise that must be dealt with. The main thing I love about C.W. Gray's stories is that once a connection is formed between a couple, they seem to forge a strong connection without angst, drama and major uncertainty or big communication difficulties. The happy ending always makes me smile. I also have to say I teared up a bit at the Dolly's Diamonds club meeting. I would love to live here with all of these characters. Even though there are some sad things mentioned, the story is uplifting in these crazy, angry times. This author is an automatic buy for me. I look forward to her new series, as well. 5 stars!
The story is low-angst regarding the romance between the MCs but someone is causing problems and they don’t know who it is.
Abel (O) is a brewer and part owner of the local bar. While on vacation he has his first one night stand but, it doesn’t feel like a one night stand. Mateo (A) takes care of his son and recently gained custody of his troubled sister. When he meets Abel, the idea of moving back to the states doesn’t seem so terrible. Abel does his best to reach out to Mateo’s sister and help bring her out of her shell. The two men get together and, with the extended Wilson family, work to solve the mystery of who is trying to harm them and why.
This book is rated 4 stars. The writing style is quick and to the point with insta-love and easily solved problems. The issues that arise are addressed and discussed by the characters involved. Past and present side characters add to the overall quality of the story.
Side Note: The side characters you are introduced to in this book have, or may in the future get, a book of their own. Every character is unique and the individual books in this series reflect this.
