The other information in it is nothing that someone who has even remotely heard of Pinterest would need to read. Even past the several typos and a few wrong words the book isn't badly written. The information overall is just useless now.
Then the other day I stumbled upon this wonderful ebook by Lambert Klein. It is written for beginners in a very easy to understand and very thorough manner. He offers many tips and insights about every conceivable way to use Pinterest and my favorite chapter was the one he wrote on marketing.
If you want to give Pinterest a try, I highly recommend you pick up Mr. Klein's book to help you on your way to "fun and profit."
They instructions regarding the layout of Pinterest really would have been clearer by incorporating Pinterest screen shots illustrating the different components.
Over all though a good basic description of Pinterest and how to use it.
The book takes you all the way through how Pinterest works. It teaches you Sharing, Pinning, and Making Friends.
You see an explaination on how to use Pinterest to make money, and the pitfalls to avoid.
Joining Pinterest is by invitation only. You find out why that is a reason for their success, and how to get an invitation. You get all the sin up steps, clearly laid out for you.
You also get a list of Pinterest Apps, and their applicaton.
Pinterest intigrates with Twitter and Facebook, and the use of that is explained.
If you are a marketer, like I am, you'll find exactly what you need here.
There was plenty of information about using Pinterest and while I am not interested in the profit side of things, knowing how people might be marketing on these types of social platforms is very illuminating.
