Luckily I had also downloaded Pinterest - Build Your Brand, Your Tribe, Your Sales (2nd Ed) which is much more fully fleshed out and gives a much better sense of what you can do with the site. If I start pinning it will be because of that book, not this one.
A more specific beef with this book is that while the author touches on the copyright issues that are a huge problem with Pinterest, she unfortunately doesn't seem to understand copyright basics. It's not "fine art" that is copyright protected - it's everyone's creations - my photos, your photos, etc. I'm not sure which is worse - don't mention the copyright elephant in the room, or to give incorrect advice about it.
If you've been using Pinterest for any length of time, there will be few surprises here. This is perfect for Pinterest newbies. If you are seeking advanced information about Pinterest, this is probably not the book for you, but it is not without merit and is easy to read and comprehend. I have not explored the links that are provided within the e-book, but some of them do look interesting in terms of advancing to the next level of Pinterest how-to. This e-book was clearly written as a gateway introduction to those links, but it is not necessary to click on them to gain the benefit of the basic information contained within this e-book.
And note to author, several typos so you should fix those, plus some odd spacing issues.

How do you get followers on Pinterest?
Ms. Taylor offers the following tips for getting followers.
Connect to your Twitter and/or Facebook accounts.
Name your boards with keywords that others might find interesting.
Make a board dedicated to your business only. You can then repin posts from your business board to your special interest boards.
Pinterest uses hashtags the same way Twitter does. Use hashtags in your descriptions before a category word like #education or #travel.
Repin, Like and Comment on other user's pins.
Follow people who pin items that interest you.
Set up a pinning schedule for each day.
The author shares "Best Advice from Top Pinners" and "Interesting Pinners to Follow" at the end of her book.
