I bought a German-made flannel sheet set online on Overst**ck. I needed two extra pillowcases and found these Pinzon ones on Amazon. Compared with the 6oz German flannel, these are a bit lighter in weight. If these are the heavyweight version, I don't think I would ever bother with the lightweight.
I did not notice a big difference before washing between the German and these, but after washing, these do feel more velvety, less like regular flannel. The construction quality of the stitching is basically the same as the German set. The true test will be how they hold up over a season of washing, whether they will pill then.
I am going to look for some more Pinzon flannel now, because I do like the velvety-ness, and the price seems a good match for the quality.

I love these flannel sheets! I was worried. I purchased these and then started reading reviews of people saying they got bed bugs from Amazon. That freaks me out. I did not have that experience though. They came and are so heavy. I set my heat on 64 this past winter and didn't move it. Our favorite place was bed and we washed and used these for most of the winter. The plus is that they made it through the winter and we will be able to use them again next winter! I'll probably buy these and take them immidiately to the laundromat though (just in case).

I am in the HOT FLASH stage of my life and don't have flannel sheets, but love flannel pillow cases. I am also one who has quite a few pillows on my bed. Washed fine for me. Didn't notice a lot of lint, no pilling on mine. Wash weekly. Still holding up for me.

I bought these so I would sleep warmer during the winter months and they are so comfortable that I long for cold nights. I think Pinzon may be an Amazon brand. I was going to buy flannel sheets from LL Bean but these are an incredible value compared to Bean. I would definitely buy again, in fact I just may.
Edit: I recommended these sheets to a friend of mine and he went out of his way to tell me that they are the best sheets he's ever slept on. I also told him to wash them before using them and he almost balked but he did wash them first. He told me there was enough lint in his dryer from the first laundering to make a blanket. I expect they will pill a good bit without first washing them.

Made of possibly the nicest heavy flannel I've ever felt. They fit my king-sized pillows perfectly, and feel amazing against my skin.
I paired these with the ivory-colored Pinzon sheet set, and my bed is now a fall/winter cozy flannel heaven. I totally overslept after my first night in them, and I blame the soft, cozy, slide-your-legs-around-and-feel-this-stuff nest that kept me drowsing back into sleep every time I started to wake up.
If you're in the market for flannel bedding, give this brand a try. But set an extra alarm, just in case.

Purchased these flannel pillow cases for the cold winter months in New Jersey. We use them with additional pillows on our bed. The pillow cases are soft, comfortable and look very nice on our bed. They are well constructed and and will last a long time considering, we only use them during the winter months. I would recommend this product!

We live in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. My elderly Dad has been complaining about being cold at night, so i bought him an electric blanket, but also decided to try some flannel sheets. He ABSOLUTELY LOVES THESE SHEETS! He told me with these sheets, he really doesn't even need to use the electric blanket, but i'm going to keep it anyway. Last winter we had wind chills of up to 50 degrees below zero, so the blanket may just come in pretty handy after all!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these sheets to anyone looking for a nice, warm feeling flannel sheet set!

These are very nice flannel pillow cases. Flannel is hard to find even in the winter as it would seem. I think they are a little bit pricey but when you can't find them, what can ya do. I don't even like the way any other cotton type pillow cases feel so that's why I buy flannel. I don't know as yet how they will stand up to washing so I'm hoping they don't get that pilling thing that makes them feel a little rough, I've only washed them once.. Since I received these two pillow cases I've bought six or eight more, I've lost count. I will recommend them to anyone wanting flannel, and the color is very nice. Thanks to Amazon :)

These are not flannel. Beware because they come up close to the topic the list when searching for "Flannel queen sheets". I didn't scrutinize the description and bought them accidentally. I can't fault the supplier as I can't find the word "Flannel" in the description anywhere. I fault Amazon and am taking it up with them or pay $9.08 shipping to return them. :-(
