Just starting out behind the decks? Transition between tracks and make it sound professional with the Transition FX feature in WeDJ for iPhone. Choose from 11 effect styles and simply slide the crossfader to the other side to smoothly switch tunes.
Compact lightweight body
The DDJ-200 is lightweight and portable. Leave the speakers at home and play sound from your smartphone, tablet, or PC/Mac’s audio outputs. No outlet handy? No problem. Power the controller via an external battery.
Switch tracks naturally
Our Phrase Sync feature will analyze and align the positions of 2 tracks. As a result, it will sound natural when you switch between tunes.
While everybody else hears the master sound through the speakers, you’ll be listening to and cueing the next track on your headphones. Simply plug in split cables to separate the audio.
Simply connect the DDJ-200 to your PC/Mac to enable rekordbox dj. You don’t need to enter a license key to use the software with the controller.

I remapped majority of the controller to suit my mixing style. It doesn't have browse and load functions so I changed out some of the hot cue buttons for browsing, FX, and loops. I also changed out some of the EQ knobs to control master and cue volume.
I do a lot of background music mixing for corporate/retail and this has become one of my favorite controllers. A lot of times I'm in an area where I can't fit a big controller like a SX3. It's small enough to throw in a backpack and it works with either laptop, iPad, or iPhone. I even added a little foldable magnetic mount so I can just mount my phone on the controller. Most of the time I use it with an iPad using DJAY. I have a 5000mah lipstick USB battery that clings to the back of the unit with a magnet. Also switched out the USB cable to a 6" cable with right angle connector. This makes it very compact and clean. With the USB battery, I can do an 8 hour gig and only use 50% of the battery.
It's nearly perfect for the money.
I also own the WeGO4, and overall, I find this unit better (and half the price).
What I like about this unit is that the platters feel good, and they feel right. They have the right shape, and work well and easily. The performance 'pads' are buttons not pads, but I actually rather like this for a more rugged setting like the beach where I'm more likely to fat finger things. I like that it has low, mid and hi EQs, which the WeGO4 doesn't. The tempo sliders are a good size, and have an okay feel, not as good as the DDJ1000 or DDJ800, the dead zone around the 0 mark isn't very easy to feel sometimes, and the zone where they slider doesn't produce adjustment is also kind of big relative to the whole slider.
What's not to like? Well - the headphone out is accomplished by splitting the stereo output of the computer; which means you're only getting mono out of the headphone jack, and so the overall signal power of the output is 1/2 which leaves the headphones particularly weak. And for me, the biggest missing is the load control on the unit. Every single other DJ unit has a load control, and I think if I could have put one more thing on the unit; it would be this. The performance pads can be switched to different modes from the laptop itself, which isn't awful; but my second wish would be a mode button for the performance pads. It's also missing any loop controls which is a bit of a bummer, but, it's a basic unit, so how much can I expect?!
This device also works REALLY well with the iPhone DJ app WeDJ (which works on the iPad also). Really really well. The iPad essentially functions as a Midi controller, and the buttons not present on the controller itself are present in the App, and it's very easy to use this way (maybe even better than with Rekordbox).
Did I mention it's very well priced?! if nothing else, this is a great backup controller that you can afford to just throw in a backpack and pull out in an emergency to get you through.
Would I recommend this unit: Absolutely, 100%. Buy it, it's fun!

Allerdings gibt es ein Problem: mit dem Dj-Controller kann man zwar Spotify STREAMEN, aber nicht mixen...!!!
Brauchte dafür noch wieder einen extra Converter.
