The good - Survived what seems to have been a trip through Sarajevo on the way to my house. Velcro strap to keep the incredibly long cord under control, and the bag to put them in is pretty nice. Feather-light construction too, so fatigue wouldn't be a problem for long duration use....
The Bad - ....Assuming you can hear the things. These are the first headphones I've ever had where they were TOO loose. I literally had to hold them against my head for the muffs to seal around my ears. Also, even with the volumes on both WMP, and my system cranked to full I could barely hear the Mass Effect 3 final space battle, which if you've ever heard it is LOUD. Also, the freq response didn't seem to be as good as advertised as tested by listening to bass test vids on youtube and several Dubstep/Rasta songs. Lastly, the earpads. They're tiny and while they are felt covered, there's nothing to them to provide much padding or ability to seal against the sides of your head.
Final verdict? 1 thumb down. It might've been a quality control issue or damage during shipping, but these things did NOT live up to the hype at all. I'm not going to ship them back for a refund however because they do work (Sort of) and I have bigger problems to deal with atm.
Update
Plugging them directly into my computer was fail, but they work perfectly with my tablet (A gen 1 Xoom) so I tried connecting them to a Bluetooth Reciever and presto, problem solved (They're still quiet but far more audible) and now they're wireless (Sort of)
The other problems still stand though

Usually I research before buying my headphones and while checking for Sennheiser HD 598 as an open back headphones I stumbled upon this headphones and the few reviews on them were good. Since the price on them was around 1/3 ($59.99) of the Sennheiser $152 I decided to give them a try. Oh, am I happy with that decision? Absolutely and definitely yes. I own a bunch of headphones but these are by far the best sounding of them. To the point that I've been rediscovering my music again. Let's be clear, these are by no means portable headphones, they're huge as you can see in the picture, they come with a sturdy and good quality fixed cable (non-removable) that's around 18 feet I think. It has a 1/8" (3.5mm) connector and a 1/4" adapter that you screw on to get a secure connection. Even though this is a old model (I think it came out in 2009) it looks modern, maybe a bit futuristic. The ear cups are gigantic, and the design provides with a very comfortable fit without pressure. The open back design means you don't feel isolated and the sound is incredible. Once you start listening to your music you're transported to the studio or the concert you're listening to. Between the airy sound, the comfortable fit you won't notice the size, it's like they dissappear and you're living the music. I can't recommend them enough. It's not your everyday headphones, but when you want to really enjoy every detail in your music this are the ones.Pros; Amazing sound, confortable, quality construction.Cons; Huge size, non-portable, non-removable cable.
