My daughters just got home from a vacation to Savannah, GA (which they LOVED beyond words!). Their favorite meal was from The Pirates House in Savannah. The gift shop there didn't have any cookbooks so I checked Amazon & thankfully found it through a wonderful business called "Pure Clear Books"....very fast shipping, very professional, cookbook just as described, even gave me contact information in case I had issues with something....thank you so much! I can't wait to try these recipes!

If you are ordering the book for the mac and cheese recipe, don't bother! The recipe as given is more like an omelette bake than mac and cheese.

There are other wonderful recipes in the book, though, so unless the mac and cheese recipe is the only reason you're ordering, you will be happy with this book.

Lots of practical recipes; some are served at the Pirates' House, some not. Plenty of desserts to satisfy the Southern sweet tooth, too.
