It's a captivity story ("The True Story of How I Was Shanghaied By Air Pirates"). The protagonist (a fictional Gunn) was taken captive by the pirate Black Jack Murphy on the airship Irish Stout, who hunts dragons: "The lure of dragon gold has led Murphy to the skies. I can't tell where the ship is off to, or how he managed to make it fly, but I have no choice in the matter. I am well and truly shanghaied by air pirates." The story is told in the form of diary entries of the happenings of the captive which are interspersed with song lyrics from Gunn's CD. So again, it helps to have the music to listen to.
Good writing, lighthearted and fun.
Now I only wish I could read more, because the ending of the story left me wishing for more adventures and more explanations regarding certain parts of the story. I hope Marc gets kidnapped by Black Jack Murphy and his pirate crew again!
