Pit Bulls are so misunderstood and this book helps inform the owners not only how to raise a healthy pit but also to educate others about this beautiful breed in a very straight forward manner easy for everyone.
Her discussions of activities and registration organizations are excellent. She includes breed standards from each of the three primary organizations that register Pit Bull or American Staffordshire Terriers. Her section for potential owners of pit bulls is outstanding. I have recommended it to people who are considering adopting this breed. It is honest, but not scary.
The book is very fair to the breed. I work with animal shelter dogs and have just started teaching a class for the bully breeds and in my opinion it is the best book available on Pit Bulls.
