Don't be misled by its whimsical appeal; this darling toy aquarium offers serious learning fun! The objective: drop the big and small fish back inside the wooden box, by sorting them into the matching sized slots on the top. Everything's color-coded, so kids learn colors as well as size recognition. When they sort a fish correctly, they're rewarded with a silly, satisfying "clunk." Done fishing? This beautifully-made wooden toy looks charming displayed on a shelf! Includes six toy fish. For ages 6 months and up. This educational toy promotes size and color recognition, problem solving, and fine-motor coordination Made of birch wood; finished with non-toxic, water-based paint Toy aquarium is 10"L x 2 1/4"W x 6"H. Fish range from 2 1/2"L x 1 3/4"W to 3 1/4"L x 2 1/2"W.

Pros: This toy is one everyone thinks is cool. Young and old. It is such a great idea, and kids gravitate to it. It is also well constructed. My guy has teethed and thrown and stood on this and it basically looks new after several months. The colors are vibrant, and the fish are adorable. It also helps develop hand-eye coordination and motor skills to get the fish in the slots.
Cons: It isn't a real size sorter. The medium sized fish can fit in the small (and obviously the larger) size hole. The large sized fish can fit in the medium. The ability to fit in smaller and larger holes makes this not a size sorter.
Overall it is a very nice toy. I am just a bit disappointed that it isn't what it is advertised as. Due to the high quality, I would purchase other toys from P'kolino.
But it looks pretty.
Definitely worth the money!!
