The premise has been over taken by current events. Do you suppose the Russians planted the B777 flaperon on the shore of Reunion Island?

Who really knows what happened? This is a great, fast read that provides a plausible explanation for the greatest aviation mystery of my lifetime. I don't think Wise is arguing that his scenario is what happened or is the only possible explanation. But it's way better than believing that zero debris would be found by now from a crash into the southern ocean. And the timing with imposition of sanctions on Russia is pretty eerie....

Amazing, I have thought of little else since I read the ebook. It has so many possibilities.

This book is very interesting, in that no one knows what really happened to the plane. However, the author has a supposition that I find to sound very plausible. The outline of events the author puts forward I think is very easy to believe .

The reason (motive)makes sense. The author relates a lot of data to the reader, but in a way that is interesting. All in all he covers the story in a very compelling way.

Enjoyed the underlying research from eminent persons in their fields.. all made this a very interesting and thought prokoing read.

Lots of conjecture. Leaves me with more questions. Well written and probably the most interesting of the books about this

Great summary of the known facts/spoofing re: 9M-MRO. I disagree with Jeff's view the Russian's were directly responsible. Though clearly it's a very sophisticated hijacking.

I had difficulty putting this book down. The author writes a compelling report of the investigations, and clarifies the technical data. His supposition of what could have happened has been well thought out and researched. Food for thought. An eye-opener for those in complacent mode.

I found this an engaging read even though much of the intricate technical discourse was beyond my grasp. The main line of argument is clear enough and seems plausible. The question of Putin's possible motive is still murky, and I didn't find the author's speculation here persuasive
