The item arrived in good condition, well packaged and on time.
I quickly opened the contents, and began reading. The setting is, for the most part, just like I remembered it, with a few minor changes. There are fewer factions, now, but some of the missing ones have actually just been changed to a more minor status. The setting book gives a description of the city of Sigil, with various locations and NPC being described. I was pleasantly surprised to see some personalities from the Planescape: Torment game included, here. There is also a detailed description of the Outlands, with a focus on the various planar gate towns.
The monster book gives 5E updates to many Planescape creatures, with artwork to match. Some of the more obscure creatures, such as the Rilmani, have been given a new look and description, but everything still retains that classic Planescape feel.
I have yet to read through the adventure book, yet, but the overall premise is quite intriguing. Again, there is a bit of a callback to the Torment PC game, and I look forward to running this adventure campaign someday.
Altogether, I am quite happy with this update, and hope to see more modernizations of older, abandoned, settings.
