Planet Eclipse has long been known as a market leader in high-end paintball markers and accessories. Our aim has always been set high; to produce the very best paintball equipment possible. Unashamedly, our products to date have always been aimed at the higher-end of the paintball market. They are feature- laden, finished to the very highest standard and immaculately prepared and presented. Entry Level they are not. We understand that not every player has the budget for markers at that level. New or recreational players within the sport may not see the benefit in such fully featured products, but why should those players be precluded from receiving exceptional value and quality? We believe that they shouldn't be. That was our philosophy when we set out to design our latest paintball marker. One that retains the core elements of all Planet Eclipse markers but comes wrapped in a more affordable package, allowing more players to enjoy the Eclipse Ownership Experience The challenge was on and we are proud to share with you... No matter at what price-point you purchase your paintball marker we believe that there are some fundamental features that every customer should demand. Quality. Reliability. Service. At Eclipse we have endeavoured to build these features into every marker we have ever produced. Even though the Etha sits at a less expensive price point not previously occupied by an Eclipse marker, the all-new Etha is no exception.

I chose the Titan white color and it is beautiful. There are a few very very small places where the color seems faded (before I played at all with it). The shaft 4 barrel is an excellent and pretty accurate barrel to come on such an entry level marker.
The feedneck is the best I've ever used and works great. The gun itself is very easy to maintain. The bolt just comes right out the back. It has a turn on off asa which is very nice to have. And it does degas the marker when you turn it off. One bad thing the macroline has given me problems. I often times have to push and pull and twist on the line to get it to seal. And also one of the fittings did not have thread tape on it so I had to fix that to stop a leak. Those are the only problems I've had.
The amount of extras that come with it are amazing. You get a hard case, very nice parts kit, very well made barrel sleeve, some lube, and a very detailed manual.
I would strongly recommend this gun to a player that wants to move up to electronic markers. It's a product that I honestly feel like it's worth more than the company is charging. If you're thinking about buying one as your first marker or first electronic marker, get it.
Aside from chopping paint for the games I got to use it effectively with it shot ropes up to 75ft with on the money precision I never upgraded the barrel I used the stock barrel and shroud.
The case and kit it came in was great, it came with tons of Hex keys, lube, a huge informational booklet and of course Planet Eclipses 5 Star Customer support. I could take the thing apart in under 3 minutes and have it lubed up and ready to go in under ten.
I contacted Planet Eclipse they suggested I turn in the gun for another one or send it in so they could look in to the issues to see if it was a noid problem but in the end I returned it and went with a Lux, which has given me zero problems even those they are maintenance queens and love to be babied.
