Just ordered another one of these straps for a second bass guitar. It is basically a nylon strap with a softer material sewn onto the back and they put a small pad in between the layers.
When I first put it on, the padding wasn't anywhere near my shoulder. There is a strap adjustment on each end, and I had to wiggle the padding (inside the tube) into the correct spot then adjust the buckle so the pad cant get out of place. I thought this was a drawback but i like that it is fully adjustable instead of having the padding sewn in place. If anything, I would say it could use just a little more padding...but it is still a huge improvement in comfort.

Great for guitarists who need better back support. I use these on my electrics and my acoustic.Published 15 days ago by CCM Guitarist
The pad could be a little more off center to sit on my shoulder better but that could just be the length I have the strap. Huge improvement over the 2" strap I had been using. Read morePublished 2 months ago by Joby Jett
The strap is comfortable for my 5-string bass, but you can't shorten it too much. My bass is heavy when I sit down I need it at a shorter length. Read morePublished 3 months ago by Derrick

Had mine for about 3, 4 years now and it's been a great strap. However; get some cheap, rubber strap locks if you have a really heavy bass. Read morePublished 3 months ago by James Dean
