About Us
In 1952, Warren “Pete” Henning returned from a Florida fishing trip with the desire to improve the tackle box. Pete set out to create a lighter, rust-proof product that could withstand saltwater fishing trips. His design replaced metal with plastic, which reduced weight while still providing durable, versatile storage. This re-envisioned concept also removed the possibility of rust, since plastic resists water and rust formation.
But the tackle box was just the beginning for Plano Molding Company. We quickly realized the basic concept of molded plastic storage could benefit more than just fishermen.
Our product line now includes storage options for gun owners, archers and hunters. We have soft cases and hard cases; backpacks and duffels; boxes of every shape and size. We even ventured outside the outdoor industry to invent the cosmetic organization category with Caboodles, and later brought organization to the crafting industry with Creative Options.
It all started with one tackle box, but it has grown into much more. We take care of you by taking care of your gear. Thank you for trusting us to PROTECT YOUR PASSION.

For my E35 bow, the pillars (A) can be positioned to pass thru the riser and hold the bow steady. So I only used one of the Velcro tie-downs (B) to hold the bow in place. So now I had two extra tie-downs that I mounted to the top to hold my quiver (C). They were a little too short, so I had to cut them in half, and use a total of 4 screws to mount the 4 different pieces. Here is a detail of how they hold the quiver:

After that I just added a spare pouch that I had laying around (D) with the same kind of screws -- this holds some pencils, string wax, etc. The big storage compartment (E) is a zip-up TDK cassette tape case that I've had around since about 1985. I knew that thing would come in handy one of these days! If you're too young to have one of those...well, I don't know, screw in an iphone box or something. :-) Seriously -- any kind of a light-weight storage box would fasten in there. It doesn't look huge, but this box holds a lot of stuff:

I sewed up a couple simple cloth bags (F) to hold my Bee Stinger stabilizers so they don't get scratched. There is a spot to clip in arrows at the top, but honestly I usually just leave them in the quiver -- they stick out over the top of the TDK storage box, and there is enough room to close the case without bothering the arrows.
So that's it! I don't know why Plano doesn't do more up front to allow storage options, but there is a lot of room in that lid. Just use it!

I do run a black gold verdict sight with the adjustable wheel for yardage, so it is a bit bulky but i believe i can make the arrows fit.
Update; I ordered a MTM 6 arrow traveler case to hold some extra high end arrows, the case is 2" thick and it works wonderfully with this bow case. I am able to fit 17 complete arrows in the bowcase. 5 in the quiver, 6 in the case mounted arrow holder and 6 in the traveler case which fits perfect in the bow case, and also holds down the extra broadhead plastic box better.
