Directions

For a romantic blend, add 5 drops Blood Orange, 2 drops Vanilla C02, 1 drop Jasmine absolute and 1 drop Vetiver in 1 ounce of lotion or massage oil. Blood Orange in an inhaler (aromastick) is a great pick-me-up!

I need to revise my first review of this, and I'll tell you why. My first impression was off some. This is really nice oil. It's just not as strong, or have the same scent as the last bottle of blood orange I bought, from another vendor. This is alot more regular orange then blood orange. But, I just did the paper blot test with this oil, and 5 or other essential oils from other companies, to see which one was real and which one had been diluted down with another oil.
If you put one drop on a piece of white writing paper, and wait until it dries real good, like 12 hours, then look, and if it's real, you should not see it on the paper. If it has some other oils mixed in, like Jojoa or something else, then there will be a little oil spot on there. Also, another test, to tell real from fake is, put a drop on your index finger, and on the other index finger put a drop of any other oil, like baby oil or Jojoba or something slick. Rub the finger and your thumb together, on both hands, if they feel the same on both hands, you got ripped off.

Your so-called, pure essential oil has a carrier oil in it, and it should not be there, if pure. Real essential oils should not feel oily or greasy in your fingers. This oil passed the slippery finger test with flying colors! It's not slick at at and some of my other "pure" oils are, and I paid alot for them and I'm mad! I was sold body oil mixed with essential oil, and I will never give those companies my business again. As for the blotter test, I'll have to wait another 11 hours before I can tell, but I can tell already which one is real. This oil is real and not diluted, and I will be bring my money to them. These tests will not work with the heavy oils like Patchouli, Sandalwood, or Cedarwood. Their too resiness.

This essential oil smells so good! Blood oranges are my favorite oranges, and Plant Therapy is my favorite brand of essentials oils, so I expected this to be great. And it is great. I use sweet orange EO regularly, but the blood orange EO has just that certain little something extra to set it apart for me. If you've ever compared either the taste or the scent of a blood orange to another type, you'll probably know what I mean. There's just that little extra hit that's not there with other oranges. And this essential oil showcases that perfectly.

I highly recommend this product.

This is one of my favorite essential oils. It smells divine. It's a sweeter and more relaxing smell than wild/sweet orange. It mixes really well with woody oils like sandalwood, Buddha wood, Cedar.... Plant therapy is pretty awesome. I have 12 of their essential oils and will be buying more. I have also signed up for their oil if the month club on their website. It's been pretty great so far! I recommend plant therapy to any essential oil lover, and especially recommend this blood orange oil.
Update: loved this oil sooo much that I just purchased the 30ml bottle from their website! 😍😍😍😍

I really like the smell of orange blood! I believe it’s stronger than the normals orange essential oils. But it not overwhelming at all. Blends well with almost everything and perfect for fall if you like sweet and spicy smells.

This is my FAVORITE. It smells so wonderful. It's just so orangey and nice. I like to unscrew the cap and take a nose full every once in a while to make me happy. I love it. So much better than sweet orange or any of those other orange oils. This is much stronger. It's only slightly orange in color, I was actually expecting a much darker color. Which is nice if you make perfumes with it, because it's less likely to stain your clothes.
