What are the benefits of organic peppermint essential oil?

Peppermint essential oil has many uses and benefits but some of our favorite include: promotes energy & alertness, invigorating to the senses, refreshing & stimulating, cooling on the skin, and eases head & neck tension.

How do I use organic peppermint essential oil for headaches?

For head and neck tension, we recommend you dilute peppermint essential oil up to 5% in your favorite carrier oil and rub on the back of the neck or temples. If applying to the temples, we would recommend a dilution of 1% instead of up to 5%.

Is organic peppermint essential oil safe to use on skin?

Yes! Peppermint essential oil is safe to use on skin. We recommend a dilution of up to 5%. Peppermint when used on the skin, is very cooling and can tingle a little which can help with discomfort and tension and feel very invigorating.

Can organic peppermint essential oil be used for hair care?

Yes! Peppermint essential oil is a great oil to add to hair care products to encourage stimulation and hair growth.

Is organic peppermint essential oil safe for children and pets?

Plant Therapy does not recommend Peppermint essential oil be used on our around small children or pets. It is a strong oil that can be very cooling and can be too strong for pets and children. We would recommend other oils like Spearmint or Lavender.

Great product! I use it in my diffuser to help me sleep, and control pet odors. I also use it in a spray bottle with some a little dish soap and dilute it with water. It’s great in the summer to control the flies and mosquitoes without using poisons. I liked the price also because it’s more expensive to purchase a good oil like this at my local stores. The oil is a really good saturation and it doesn’t require much to use.

Update:(09/27/23)I originally bought it for my migraines or back pain but recently I was admitted to hospital and had septic shock. In recovery I had very bad neck cramps, headache and back pain. This oil saved me. I used more than half bottle for pain in these ten days than all these years I had it. Thanks to my husband who applied this oil on my very sick body. The potency is still the same. Thank God I spent a little extra and got the organic one. Must have in your house if you suffer from headache or neck pain.

i have switched from all the expensive brands to this brand. Plant Therapy has exceeded expectations and i can tell the difference between much more expensive brands and the quality of Plant Therapy, and i ahve to say, I stick with Plant Therapy. I get migraines, headaches, alot. this Peppermint has helped me so much, it relieves, for my situation, migraines, once i put some dissolved in cocunut oil or direct, behind my ears, under nose, one drop under roof of my mouth, and behind neck. almost within 5 minutes, the pain begins to lower if not go away completley. i also combine it with other plant therapy products. i highly recommend them. feel free to email me with any questions.

After trying a handful of mint products, I started being able to determine which are legitimate and which aren't. Or at least, the best you can get from amazon.

Real mint does not sting and is not as painful as the fake oils on Amazon. Secondly, the oil should smell like mint! If you've ever purchased the fake oils on here by accident you know what I'm talking about. They sting A LOT and don't smell right.
