Plant Therapy Organic Cocoa Butter Bar

Use Organic Cocoa Butter in a wide range of lip balms, creams, lotions and other body care products. Store in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight.

*Disclaimer: Cocoa butter is naturally solid, but will melt at high temperatures and become solid again when cool. This warming and cooling may produce fat crystals that affect the color and texture, making it appear grainy or uneven. This is natural and may affect the appearance but will not harm the quality of the butter.

Organic Cocoa Butter is naturally rich in Vitamin E and is excellent for reducing dryness, lubricating the skin, and soothing all skin types. Plus, its rich, sweet, chocolate aroma makes it great for body care products.

DIY's

DIY Bath Melts: Melt 2 ounces of Cocoa Butter over a double boiler. Once melted, remove from heat and add 1 tsp of carrier oil and 30 drops of essential oil. Mix well and pour into silicone molds. Place in your freezer until solid.

Our Organic Cocoa Butter is available in a 16 oz bar. The bar comes packaged in a foil insulated and resealable bag for easy use and storage.

Cocoa Butter

• Extracted from cocoa beans

Shea Butter

• Extracted from seeds of the shea tree
• Moisturizing vegetable oil
• Available in its raw, natural, and unrefined form
• Melts on contact with the skin
• Solid at room temperature
• Softer than cocoa butter when solid
• Blends well with other oils
• Must melt at lower temperatures because it turns grainy if you melt at higher temperatures
• Absorbs into skin well
• Can be used in lip balm, creams, body butters, soaps, etc.

Mango Butter

• Expressed from the seeds of the mango tree
• Moisturizing and offers minimal protection from the sun
• May help ease dry skin conditions
• May help slow down degeneration of skin cells
• Softer than shea and cocoa butter at room temperature, but still solid
• Creamy texture
• Blends well with other oils
• Little to no odor
• Nutrient dense, contains vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants
