Have tried many products in the past, including Bobbex and Liquid Fence. Nothing is absolutely perfect, but this works the best of all. We live in a very heavily deer populated area and they eat even the plants they are not supposed to eat. Just be careful when you re-spray that you dilute as recommended to avoid too much nitrogen on the leaves which can cause curling and burn on some plants. If that happens, you can just rinse it off. The company said the curling will go away after a few days, but it looked so terrible I didn't want to take a chance. To be honest, I sprayed a very concentrated dose for a couple of weeks, rather than diluting as recommended in the directions. With this product, more is not necessarily better.

I've used this product for years; both the granular and the powder mix. It doesn't seem to be the same product...meaning this was ineffective where previously it worked outstandingly. Chipmunks used to leave my row of framed and netted blueberry bushes alone....NOT THIS TIME. Rabbits went right past encircled vegetables and were eating my beet leaves...had to cage that too. I won't be purchasing this product anymore...I can't trust that it will do the job. After all; as they say, "IT AIN'T CHEAP".

Plantskydd Granular will NOT protect plants from deer

We purchased 3 each 8 lb. containers of the granular product. After 2-3 weeks the deer have eaten most of our hostas, phlox, hydrangeas and other flowering plants. I contacted the manufacturer (Planskydd) and was informed the guarantee is for a refund of ONE ITEM ONLY per retail customer. Very poor customer service! DO NOT WASTE $$$ ON THIS PRODUCT. It did not work for us in Central Minnesota. We DO NOT have a problem with the seller.

If you have not tried this YOU HAVE TO!! It really works! If you get the spray, spray every other day whether it rains or not. Spray around the base of the plant and the lower portion of the plant. My flowers are all intact and gorgeous! I use both the spray and the granules. Granules I use the beginning of spring and then again middle to end of June and then middle to end of August.

doesn't work. it says it is 100% guaranteed and now I find out after using it that the guarantee expired a month after purchasing it. Don't waste your money, it is a rip off. Every single plant I put it on was eaten by deer. Maybe my deer just are stupid and can't read or maybe it's me that is stupid for buying it.

This product is excellent at repelling deer and rabbits. It does not have to be reapplied after rain. I applied it in April and it is now June and it is still effective. I just purchased my second container as I had hostas that were not treated, showing rabbit damage.
