I watched a youtube video on spray can bedliners and thi s was the top one. I used it on my running boards which has held up very well in Missouri's winter. It's been on for about 5 months now and it still looks good when the truck is clean. Also used it on my cheap cold air intake, also from amazon, and it makes it look so much better. 10 outta 10 for a spray can bed liner. Just make sure you sand and clean whatever surface your painting. I dont know how it will actually hold up as a bed liner but if your looking for the rugged black look this will do

Got this to use on my lacrosse helmet. I figured a truck bed liner would hold up to the wear and tear a helmet would take. It had total coverage in one coat but used the recommended 2 coats for durability. I had scuffed the smooth plastic for better adhesion and it seemed to work. The liner does not stick well to any spots that are still smooth. It can be easily peeled away. That is on me for not marking the surface to allow the liner to adhere. It has texture which was expected for a truck bed liner. Hoping that it can handle some hits and not chip away too quickly. It is able to flex with the plastic a bit with no visible issues.

Bubbles in hot sun

I had high expectations for this stuff but it really fell flat. First, the spray is so narrow and dries so fast that getting an even coat is super hard. I was painting a large aluminum sheet that sits outside in the sun. The texture and overall quality looked good on a test piece I did but doing the final spray was really hard. I ended up using a wire brush on the surface to create a more even look due to the streaks.

But, worse than all of that is that the paint bubbled up in many places, perhaps where it was applied in thicker/thinner coats. It looks like it melted, bubbled and then dried again. After this happened the bubbles are easy to scrape off with your fingernails because they are porous and brittle.

Very disappointing... I will have to spend a lot of time removing the product and trying something different. I would suggest against applying it to any surface that sits in the sun but especially metal surfaces.

I bought this product to paint fender flares on my 4x4, I cannot speak to its use or durability as a truck bed liner. I sanded and primed the fender flares before applying it. It sprays on thick, so be ready to move your hand faster than you usually would when spraying paint. As others have said, spray the can upside down for a few seconds in between uses to avoid sticking up the nozzle. Spraying it pointed down didn't work all that well for me so I can't imagine doing an entire truck bed like that.

You definitely need 2 coats to get good coverage, just as the manufacture recommends to get good coverage. It takes me 3 cans to do 4 fender flares and 2 bumpers on my 4x4. I thought 2 cans would do it. At this rate I wish I would've just bought the 6 pack.

Ok, so full disclosure, I used this to spray on a 3D printed helmet to add some texture, not in a truck bed. That being said, it worked amazing on the helmets, so I am positive it will work as intended on a truck bed!

It sprays super clean with no clogging of the spray nozzle. The texture is perfect, not too bumpy, not too smooth, and it dries surprisingly fast as well. Once dry this product is tough! No dings and hard enough that a cat couldn't scratch it, if you are in to that sort of thing...

Anyways, I highly recommend this truck bed liner, and I will be buying more for future projects!

I bought 6 cans originally to coat my truck bed, needed to buy 6 more on an 8ft bed. The main gripe I have is the trigger on these cans is terrible, the design is such that if you aren't careful removing the tab, you WILL break the trigger mechanism and render the can useless.

Prep is key. Ensure you have a good surface clean of oil wax and debris. Scuff it up so it will catch the paint and lay down very fine coats at first.
Build up to the layers you need for protection.

If used right and with patience this will no doubt protect whatever it’s going over. The key is to not rush and lay down coats allowing them to dry.
