Plastic parts? Are there plastic parts on this press that come into contact with the coffee??? I am trying to get away from consuming hot foods/beverages coming into contact with plastics. Thanks!

The lining of the lid is a heat resistant plastic that is labeled BPA-free. Also, if you follow the directions, the coffee will only come in contact with the plastic when you pour it out.
