Movie itself is worth buying, but the picture & sound quality are poor for a movie from this era. Should've been upgraded by the studio who no doubt is TOO cheap and greedy and will do so in the future - so you'll buy the double-dip to upgrade.

No as awesome as I originally thought in 1986, but still a good flick. I would have given this 3 1/2 stars, but 1/2 stars aren't an option.

An 80's blockbuster. Does not compare to Apocalypse Now or Full Metal Jacket. Hasn't aged well unlike the latter-mentioned.

Great film but some of the characters written a little over the top. Nonetheless a remarkable work.

This movie is worth the time. Everyone should watch it at least once. Good performance from Charlie Sheen.
